Which spores come highest recommended for a first time observation? I'm not very familiar with the specifics of each strain, and just wanted to make sure I procured the right one for optimal conditions.

People always say cubes are cubes with only a few very subtle differences on rare occasions. One difference I hear from time to time even from a long time grower once is Ecuador has a good pin set. It's probably BS, but hey... if you gotta pick one... It least will be the standard cube.
-------------------- A bit expensive but the largest clear tote I've found. Great if you want a large SGFC that can easily do both trays and cakes. If you decide to go all out on a SGFC, be sure to get coarse perlite. It keeps it cleaner and allows better FAE and humidity.
