When taking mescaline, is nausea a good sign that the goodies are being absorbed? And can u get nausea from sub threshold doses?

The nausea is from the cactus, not the mescaline. If you eat some bunk san pedro, you will still probably have nausea unfortunately. If you dosed and are waiting on effects though, hang in there, it supposedly can take awhile. Just my 2ยข, I've never taken cactus. I will one day though!

Mescaline usually kicks in at or around the 2 hour mark.

Take 5 drops of lemon essential oil about 20 minutes prior to ingestion.
Cactus nausea comes for a couple reasons. Mescaline itself even in the purest for can have nauseating qualities to it. Just like good molly. There is also the taste and stomach factor of ingesting a full spectrum product like tea or resin.

Hmm. I guess ill have to get some mint oil. Should i just put it on my tounge or toss it in a gelcap? I've got some cactus in a crock pot on low in my apartment(smells like some gnarly old green beans in the hallway;). It's the green tissue and a bit of skin from about 16" of 2.5-3 inch diameter san Pedro's that have been unpotted, unwatered, and unprotected from the hot sun for about 2 months prior. I'm doing a pull every 12 hrs is the plan. I'm buying some lemon juice to help break down those damnable cells! And I'm going to filter it with a t-shirt and some man handling. Should I make a drinkable amount of tea, tar, or evaporate the fluid and put the powder into gel-caps?

Ha. I meant lemon. But I'm taking mint and ginger too. The herbal anti emetic trifecta!

The first pull looks good. It's brown and I'm saving it in a bottle. For the 2nd pull I have added lemon juice.

3rd pull. It still tastes bitter. Is it possible ( and worth it) to keep making more and more pulls untill the liquid is no longer bitter? Or would the cactus begin to fall apart(even more) and would I eventually be extracting the skin and cells and other nausea causing stuff?

Last pull. Time to evaporate it down to tar/powder.
