That extremely rizomorphic growth tells me that mycelium is looking for a more suitable environment

But how so! where the contamination?
I just wanna know how to tell the differences.
Isn't that mycelium crawling out of the surfaces?

rizomorphic? umm probably is bc i had it taped and cover.
Should i just add polyfil ore just trow this away and start over.
I don't see any reason to trow it away.
Just questioning not trying to be a smart ass :/
I did add a top layer on this

In a normal healthy looking tub the mycelium would look more whispy and cottony. When it grows like roots (rizomorphic growth) it is looking for a more suitable environment. A healthy tub is a perfectly suitable environment therefore you don't see that extremely rizomorphic looking growth.

Also no need to add a top layer. Just mix it all together

Why, it is like 10% colonized if that.....just leave it sealed up for another week and see what happens.

QFT. if you do get any fruits at all its gonna take a while for your ratio of spawn to sub, good luck and keep that thing closed until the surface is colonized
