Stirring LC THROUGH liquid agar

Hey guys,
I haven't tried this yet but I am very curious to see what happens, unless you guys have tried it before.
What would happen if you were to get a clean LC and mix it through your agar in the glovebox after it has been sterilised while it is still liquid (right around the 40C mark) just before it sets solid? And then getting those agar plates into a fridge or something to cool them down as fast as possible
I think this could potentially make the agar colonise very very fast. But I could be wrong completely.
There are 2 reasons why I believe that the mycelium will recover from the temp 1) In QLD Australia there are cubes growing in open fields everywhere. There are MANY days throughout the summer time where the temperatures far exceed 40C out in the open. The cubes survive just fine 2) Mycelium is really tough stuff. I have seen it recover from some ridiculous stuff
So has anyone tried this? Anyone theorise what might happen?
Cheers guys
Ace

I think that with the right agar recipe, it will perform optimal without the need for addition of LC. There's dozens of different recipes. With malt, dextrose, potato water, cat food, horse shit, you name it. Agar is already a fast colonizer.

I do understand that it is already fast but a potential added benefit would be if you were putting wedges of agar into a grain jar or whatever you want then you would have additional points on and through the agar that would effectively be inoculation points. If you know what I mean?
It could substantially increase the colonising speed of an agar transfer

Wait, you want to infuse LC mycelium into sterilized agar?
Interesting, but way out of my league. Better let the TC's handle this one.

Let me admit that I read this post much more thoroughly than the OP, and now that's out the way.
If speed is your issue than simply inoculate an LC with a wedge from your agar. But then you need to wait for that colonize and blah blah...
If you want to increase the speed of colonization across the board, use a tub-in-tub incubator set at 80F.
All my jars inoc'd with agar wedges get shaken at 5-7 days and are done by 10-14 (at most). A consistent temp (no dips or jumps) is amazingly beneficial in this regard. I will never use room temp for my jars again.

Cheers Frank
I will still give this stir through a test but that tub in tub looks awesome. I do have something similar at the moment going on but that looks better across the board haha
