What was he thinking?

6 game suspension.  He better come back ready to play.  The Broncos need him badly.

What a start to the season for the Broncos.  It's alright, though.  I'm trying to think of it like a blessing in disguise.  These early season troubles are just obstacles.  Once the playoffs come around, Denver will be rolling and on FIYAH!

Yes 6 games and he doesn't get to practice with the team. Maybe he will come back pissed off and ready to go cause of all that money he's losing.

I don't see a lot of challenges for the Broncos till the playoffs. They should be a one or two seed for conference.

Thats what im saying.

The Broncos could play like the saints if they really had to, and its not like Miller was the only reason that defense was good. There are plenty of studs in that group. Plus we gotta a whole lotta muscle to stuff up that middle and take up blockers now, so Miller may still be in the running for sack leader anyway

Denver wins the division again, but I think the comeback team of the year will be the Chiefs.  I think they have a shot at the playoffs.

BTW just got back from the Broncos-St. Louis game.  It was pretty fun for a preseason game.  It rained hard at the end of the game, I got soaked.

Ya i tend to agree with that, i actually dont mind the chiefs or chargers, i only hate the raiders. I live in salt lake and its been raining like a mother fucker all day so you got more on your way my man. Hope you had a blast at the game, i still haven't made it to an NFL game hoping to knock that one off my bucketlist soon though

Im actually pulling for the chiefs outside of when they play Denver, I just don't think decent coach/QB will suddenly turn them into a great team.

Its not just a decent coach that they have though. There is talent all over the field on both sides of the ball. A good coach will provide cohesion for that talent to come together, but it also takes leadership on the field. Hopefully Smith will step into that role as someone people can rally behind. Plus, Kansas City is just an awesome football town. I totally recommend you go to a football game elax, and make sure its somewhere where people actually have heart. i will tell you right now that Jets fans are shitty people with shitty attitudes, and its clear to me thats a strong support for why their team sucks.

Go to a saints, chiefs, colts, or miami game, and strangers will be giving you beer regardless of who you root for. I dont hate Denver as much as I hate Oakland, but theyre on my shitlist for being traitors to good players who believed in them, and cause of the KC loyalty :P

Denver looks bad, they benefit from an illegitimate schedule (easiest in the NFL). Odd they'd get a schedule like that considering they had such a good regular season record. Oh wait it's Peyton Manning's team so they'll fix up the easiest path possible so he can choke out in the playoffs again..

Games are a lot of fun to go to.  It's just really, really expensive to go.  I'm lucky that someone in my family has had great season tickets for 30 years.

I'd like to see the Chiefs do well, so long as it's not better than Denver, of course.  I have to disagree with you about the Chiefs QB/coach change.  They have had a very talented roster on both sides of the ball that has been undermined by a terrible passing game.  Alex Smith is a good quarterback, and Reid is a good coach who tries to work gameplans to his players' talents.  Their passing game should really improve, and that will only benefit their already solid running game with Jamaal Charles.

I'll miss Dumervil.  That was just the start to the Broncos' crazy offseason.

Honestly I think the Broncos defense is looking suspect.  Champ Baily was getting worked by Golden Tate and then he got hurt.  Now they moved Wesley Woodyard to MLB from OLB to replace the injured starter.  He's been the team's leading tackler on the outside, and he's a little small for a MLB.  Derek Wolfe should hopefully back in full form.  The starters have been allowing long drives and touchdowns and it a bit concerning.

I hope Del Rio can get things figured out.

Yup with you on that one bender, Imma miss Doom.  I think their D will shape up fast, it was inevitable champ would eventually lose a step and get old  he is still a very good CB though. I dont know the specifics of his injury because i HATE preseason. Like i said though if the broncos had to they could play like the saints pretty easily i think.  zone blitz for days and put up 40 a night.

You said that last year. What every team you hate has the "Easiest schedule", Your gay ass cheating seahawks have a pretty easy schedule themselves

God you really do hate Peyton which is sad because he is the only decent superstar QB left aside from Brees.

Oh and Seattle Choked harder than any team in the playoffs last year. Denver just got beat by a better team(superbowl winners), but peyton threw a pick so it is all his fault.....

Seattle lost because they cant manage a clock, and they lost to the biggest playoff chokers of the last ten years :lolsy:

I wholly disagree. Brady has only been succesful at one team with one coach, and only hugely succesful when they were still cheating, not to mention he is a complete and utter asshole.

I think Aaron rodgers will turn into a class act when he is closer to the end of his career, Brady never will.

I dont care about off field character so much; most people have dirt somewhere on their team. Looking at the numbers, that guy has 3 rings, that's Brees, manning, Rodgers combined, + 2 more Super Bowl appearances, recently. You dont get that kind of success without immense talent. I don't care one way or another for him as a person, where I actually like the other mentioned qb's. But his statistics paint enough of a picture. He's one Super Bowl victory away from being the best qb to ever play the game.

His team got him their, you should peep his post season stats, they're awful. He barely beat Rex 'interception' grossman. He lost to brees.. He's not good in the playoffs period.

I don't even "hate" the broncos, Manning just got a favorable shcedule because he's Manning. NFL Network. NFL.com, ESPN, and every other sports org has reported the Broncos have "the easiest" schedule in the NFL. Also Hawks didn't choke Pete was a poor coach and decided not to take any field goals and called a stupid time out at the end. Team did enough, coach screwed them over, not a big deal as Balt wins that SB based on the better "story", regardless of their opponent.

You fail to understand the reality of the NFL, thus why I out preformed you and everyone else in the post season picks.

Oh god, the team MADE  by peyton manning. The team that won 1 game when he got injured, ya right THEY made him  make more excuses. The hawks choked as bad as you can choke against ATL, last time i checked the coach is part of the team, probably the most important part.

If there's any positive to the whole Von scenario, I guess at least he will be fresh and healthy for the back end of the season. I was really disappointed as well.
