Goodmorning everyone ,how are yall doing? My hands and head hurt. Went to a drum circle last night, drank a little too much, and played someone's djimbe a little too hard. I have these two gnarly blisters on the tips of my fingers on my right hand. Weird sensation because it makes them feel numb.
Anyways, I'm about to chug some water and make myself breakfast. Hope everyone else's morning is going swell!

I drank last night. A lot. Woke up at 9. I'm surprised I feel as good as I do. I really wanna put this off day to good use, but...going back to the bed and just straight lounging the fuck out sounds nice, too.

I'm making tomatoe sauce to go w dinner tonight. I'm going to make a parmesean chicken but instead of baking I'm gonna do it on the stove.
Also cleaning up my house, its amazing how messy your place can get within 24 hours.
Tomorrow I'm making prickly pear margarita's.

It is, isn't it? There has been countless nights here where at the beginning of the night the place started out clean, and within the span of a handful of drunken hours -- the place looks like a damn tornado done went through it.

Yeah pretty much. I can wash all the dishes from dinner and by the AM there's atleast 3 cups, some utensils and sometimes a bowl or plate. I have my boyfriend to thank for that lol
I like having my house super clean on fridays so I don't have to do shit until Monday.

I'm supposed to have a phone interview today, and now I have to explain to the employer how I managed to lose my phone last night.
I think I figured out a story to make it sound legit
"Hello Nicholas, I'm contacting to let you know I misplaced my phone yesterday. I've been helping my Dad's company setup audio equipment for a trade show at the Double Tree and somehow lost my phone while going back and forth between his office and the Double Tree. However, because the trade show is happening today I will be staying home for the day, so I'll be available for phone interview all day. Feel free to call me at my home number, *not putting it here*.
Best regards, Drew"
The story is 90% true at least

honestly i don't think you need to give a story. employers don't want hear excuses or reasons why you can't be there, yadda yadda. just explain that you misplaced your phone and give him your home phone like you planned.

Well I already sent the email, so way to make me feel stressed out!
Not really, I have another job lined up in a week or two, but I figure I might as well as explore my options.

Fuck yeah! Nicholas got back to me really quick. My phone interview is at 3pm!!!!! I really want to land this job. It's got room to move up. And it's in software development, which I know hardly anything about but would love to learn.
I'll probably be going to an oil refining company to make bank here in a week or two, but this is a company that I want to at least be able to come back to. And if I don't land the IT job at the oil refining company, then I can just hold this job down and move on up.

Not hire. Rent, maybe.
So, yesterday, I started using extra weight on my chest for sit-ups because they were getting too easy. I don't know why I didn't do this years ago.
