Professional troll, psychobabble extraordinaire. You gotta hand it to her/him, anne knows exactly how to turn a simple thread into very confusing one....

i got it in a link on an RR thread , wich had something to do with me. it was most informative.
i never link offsite. paper is about ascomycota and lawns.
if i read it right, a simple experiment, will be a major key to trich eradication.
ironically, me and someone else did the experiment ALREADY, by accident. and being stoned, didnt realize what we saw....... even more of a self burn, i have PICs of that experiment already. thing is they are buried in a pile of 40k other pics of experiments. believe me , we looked.
kids dont use drugs, or ya wont be able to find all your pics.
this time, annie knows what shes seeing, and has a 14 mp cam .
so far it looks like b-plus and me, have offered at least short answers on topic. peanut gallery, -0-
somebody put up some trich pics or something.

You crack me up!
chaotic646-
You mentioned spraying bleach/vinegar/water, having a HEPA filter running and how much you clean your tubs, but you left out the information that would most likely be the cause of the problem-
- Inoculation method - Type of filtration used on jars or bags - Grain spawn prep method & sterilization method/time - Bulk sub prep and pastuerization method
That is just one of thousands of quotes from RR you posted. I'm sure you will also find quotes stating that if you have clean, fully colonized grain spawn and a properly pasteurized bulk substrate that you can spawn the grain to the bulk sub in open air. Inoculating a grain/pf jar or bag is where sterile technique is required.
Inoculation...these tubs were from a g2g using a SAB, gloves, surgical mask, tyvek sleeves.etc...Im extremely sterile. The grain jars showed no visible contams, smelled like nothing but fresh mushrooms, and recovered fine after a good shake. The substrate was properly pasteurized for 90 minutes and even though its not necessary was spawned in a sterile environment.
I left all this out because I assumed if my spawn was contamed I wouldn't have made it halfway through my 2nd flush before seeing the green.

I'm a total noob, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Could it be genetics? It doesn't sound like it's an error in your method; what if the mycelium is too weak to fight off the contam by the 2nd flush?
How are you re-hydrating your sub for the 2nd flush?

I don't rehydrate other than misting. I've read several times it's usually not necessary to dunk a tub until the 3rd flush.

I just dumped all of my tubs outside near a shady tree about 50 yards from my house. I dumped them upside down, and the bottom looks great. Going to keep them moist, what are the chances I get some more fruits off of these? I know its recommended to bury them but I dont feel like it.

i just mist heavily a few times usually during the second flush. you can eyeball your sub by picking the tub up to see how much it weighs if it needs a dunk/spray or not
