What I found today ;) (IDs added)

Habitat: NE Ohio two locations within mile radius. one near a strip mine lake and another on a hillside mixed forest with pines. Gills: seperate species numbered
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
Spore print color: Very important!
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Other information:
Found some nice stuff today!!! I only found one amanita species and a couple a. pins its ok tho! Im going to start with the mushrooms I found by the strip lake (on otherside of huge hill) cliff. in the more gradual slope area. 1. Lacrymaria velutina IDed by: Gravija gelatinosis

9 might be Boletus edulis or something closely related. 13 looks like a Suillus species.

1) Lacrymaria velutina 2) Monotropa uniflora 3) looks like a Tricholomopsis species 4) Xerula 4.5) Gymnopus 4.75) gills or pores please 5) Agaricus. Staining? Odor? Nearby tree species? 6) I don't really do Boletes. Maybe for $$$ I would. 7) I can't tell which Amanita this is. Are you certain about your ID? 8) dunno 9) dunno 10) Royoporous badius 11) it's gonna stay unknown without a gill shot. Maybe Crepidotus 12) Russula 13) Maybe Leccinum. I see scabers.

Im pretty certain about the amanita but then again Im no expert which is why I havent or plan on eating them yet. I will upload pics of gills for the ones you requested. i do not have a specimen of the xerula species but they were Ided here before which is how I know. Just figured Id show em. Thank you for your help!

Damn...where you live at, sonn? Nice finds. I needs me some pics of the stems and bruising of the pore surface of those boletes, sizes, and staining upon cutting, if ya can. Squeeze a spore print outta those fuckers if they'll cooperate.

I live in NE Oh. and It didnt dawn on me until recently that my valley is one of the best areas for mushroom hunting! I will get on the spore prints right now and cuttings. post when I get results

TY Untitled and all! Anyone else got a guesses? Heres pics of the boletes 30 mins after cutting stems and laying caps down for spore prints. I cant notice a difference in coloration.

#5 was found growing on a steep hill. Im not good at tree ID so I will post spore print tomorow. I think it bruised black. does that make sense? the odor is very strong reminds me of bleach. heres pics.

Itried making prints of them pores down and only the one makes a redish brown print but barely can see it.

I'm guessing 5 is one of the poisonous Agaricus species. Hence the smell of bleach.

Ty Untitled. I think your right on number 5. I also think I found some death caps in the post *(more for today). They were under pine trees nd look identical to yellow amanitas but theyre pure white! BTW TY Bittrbuffalo for the compliment.

Boletes are a bitch to print. I can only get one like half the time, and I usually have to wait at least 18 hours. Which one had the reddish print?

Yeah I left them overnight and couldnt see a print on any of them except the one of the bigger ones that I said left a redish/brownish print. So Im not the only one hehe.

boletes 12th photo down, second one down in the middle. thats the one. they all seem to have the redish/pinkish undersides.

And for #13, I'm guessing Leccinum subglabrites if the flesh doesn't really darken when you cut it in half, or L. rugosiceps if it darkens and the stem looks almost hairy in the middle when you slice it in half.
