The molly comedown causes whole body twitches or spasms for me, usually as I'm trying to fall asleep. Sometimes I'll be half-dreaming and feel like I'm falling and my body will jerk the mattress, like an electric shock.

Exercise, supplements, magnesium, potassium, and vitamins may work for some people, but they have never worked for anyone in our family; our levels have been checked and they are fine. Exercise can actually exacerbate the problem. My mom used to play tennis and had to give that up because of the cramps she would get.
Just glad that I have a treatable condition. It is pretty strange watching your calf twitch on its own and your toes curl over backwards. I get them when I trip sometimes too.

My doctor prescribes Flexeril for them, but the hangover from those pills last the entire next day, so I only use them when necessary. It is hereditary; my mom and sisters get them as well. They can be so bad at times that they will wake me up out of my sleep. Then my calf or foot will be sore for a few days afterwards because it strains the muscles.
They are a pretty bad deal for us, but my doctor has said to be grateful that the muscle relaxer works, because they are not effective for some people. It sucks, but what are you going to do?
i was prescribed flexeril for another reason but i've yet to notice any hangover. how would you explain the hangover?
i have muscle spasms all the time. yesterday it was in the muscle under my shoulder blade and it was so frequent that it became really uncomfortable. i also get them in my stomach and that used to freak me out because i thought it meant a baby was in there

I usually have to take about 20mgs for them to work. I feel lethargic, drowsy, cloudy for almost 24 hours later. They make me sleep like the dead as well. Guess I am just pretty sensitive to them.
