Any help would be appreciated and if i need to do something else to help let me know. http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh528/Cyanidecid/2013-08-20_19-25-31_805_zpsc4365c2b.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh528/Cyanidecid/2013-08-20_19-25-44_296_zps2b895f31.jpg http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh528/Cyanidecid/2013-08-20_20-19-14_419_zpsf662ec91.jpg

Do you have some better pictures? Those are really blurry. If you can fill out the ID request form, we might be able to help.

when you start a new post click on the tab up top and select ID request. Before you add any images and its gives you a template to fill in for better identification.

If you keep eating unidentified mushrooms you might well be a very dead shroom hunter. Honestly, do people think the news of people dying of mushroom poisonings are fake or something? And all the people left with permanent liver damage or on kidney dialysis for life never make it to the news. There's more of them out there than dead ones.

Yeah I hate noobs. Anyway... Id help please ha I was wondering if anyone could help me identify these. They were found in northeast wisconsin, growing out of the ground, right at the base of pine trees. I am thinking maybe Amanita Muscaria. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Im not seeing a persistant veil, and theres no rings at the base. if you compare those features between what you have, and a real A. muscaria.

I know i'm probably coming off as another wishful thinking newb, but I am very careful and will not be attempting anything stupid. -with that said- Does persistent veil = annulus ? If so, i'm pretty sure they do have it, but it does not look very grand like in the pictures... As for the shaggy rings. It has been very dry recently in my area. Is it possible that the rings, along with the annulus, may have dried and crumbled off? The lines that they were there are present. Granted these are not picture perfect specimens. Also, I really appreciate your thoughts; I learn much better through conversation than reading (which I have done)

James, if you want more people to see them, start your own ID thread. It's considered bad manners to hijack someone else's.
