Question about humidity & fruiting chamber

What do u guys think if one were to use an air pump with an air stone in a glass jar filled with water to create humidity inside of the fruiting chamber instead of using perlite? This way is cleaner and easier than perlite, but is it effective in ur opinions?

Not as effective. I wouldn't consider it any easier either. Things don't get much simpler than misting some perlite.

Air stones are frowned upon by most TrustedCultivatards. Not sure if they just dont perform as well, or if it's the standing water or what...

Supposedly, shotgun containers don't need much fanning to get fresh air. I think people still fan the shit out of them anyways trying for that 1st flush pinning high...
Fanning and misting will be two opposite ends of what you need. Fan / Fresh Air for evaporation and low CO2, and misting to maintain hydration.
If I remember correctly.

No need to force air through, just having enough holes will provide however much FAE you need.
