    #18733755 - 08/20/13 07:11 PM (10 years, 6 months ago)

I found most of these in grass near pine trees. Do any of these look like amantia muscaria to you????? I'm pretty sure the yellow one is and I think the grey ones are death caps ( angel deaths )

Nope! The Red mushrooms are a Russula species. The other two are Amanita, but not muscaria.

What about the yellow ones. They have the rings and spots just like muscaria? I have seen some yellow ones online.

Not to second guess a TI, but if those yella 'uns ain't muscaria, what are they?

Love to know what #3 is, that's a cutie.

I'd say Amanita gemmata is likely, but it's too young to properly ID, and the part of the world it was growing in is also important for Amanita identification.

I spelled these instead of those by accident.:stoned:
The 2 pics I posted are the yellow version of muscaria.

I'm confused about the yellow muscaria.  The pics you posted look like the same species in the original post.  Volva present and shaggy stems on both, just looks to me like a difference in the veil perhaps due to moisture or light levels...

???

var guessowi?
