Important Manure Question
    #18732659 - 08/20/13 02:45 PM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I'm surprised I can't find anything on this at this website. In my city, there is no place to find dried manure (only large bags of smelly, moist manure).

Does anyone have experience drying steer (cow) manure in the sun? I currently have bins 1/8 of the way filled with the smelly shit drying out in the sun. I'm really trying to find out how long until the smell is gone (can't have my house wreaking of shit).

*Note that I live in the desert with 100+ degree blazing sun every day.

I just did my first Hpoo mono. I simply spread it out on a tarp and let the weather do its thing. Worked like a charm, no muss, no fuss. First youll see flies like hell, then some vegitation will try to grow then just barnyard goodness for mushies. By the time my jars were ready to crumble the Hpoo was ready to pasturize. So a few weeks.

Sorry, but what makes the manure important?

Jks! Just spread it on a tarp in the sun and let it dry until... well, it's dry
