If I ordered a live Salvia D. and 5 peyote plants online what is the chance customs will take them, and if they catch the shipment will they still ship the Salvia?

Any live plant you try to import is going to get seized if they find it regardless of species, unless accompanied by the proper paperwork (obviously in a case like this you probably don't want to go the official route.) Peyote seeds are extremely generic looking though, without a label nobody would guess that's what they were. They might even take out the cutting and send you the seeds.

You are better off finding domestic sources for both of these plants.

For some reason I thought he said peyote seeds. I have heard of people successfully receiving peyote plants in the US from outside the country but I guess a lot also get intercepted.

Thanks for the quick replies! So far what I've been able to look up says that some plants are able to make it through. The worst that happens apparently is a "love letter" from customs. I found a local source who only had one button for sale, which I happily picked up. However I couldn't find a source for Salvia D. so after price checking a couple sites I decided to order some but added in the peyote to make the 40$ shipping charge worth it. Hope they make it through

I would say more bigger peyote in the parcel increases the chance of it to stop by customs.
I don't want to say public what size peyotes and what kind of packing can success easily to states but common sense can be used at this point.
Some business outside of states will not even send these plants there, but there is always exception on the rule. Best way totally are to get these inside states or find out private person who can send parcel and try your luck to get it trough customs..
I don't kno states customs much but there sniffer dogs doesn't mark any cactus plants and salvia plant is one what sniffers doesn't mark as drugs.
..ofc some dogs are trained for different job but regular drug sniffer has not any idea when I was stopped at border with peyote and san pedro in my backpack.. Also custom officers was lazy and doesn't want to try find out what plants they were so they let me go.. There are still dogs trained to smell anything like leather, plants, money etc so that's why I don't know what kind of tek different country customs use or will they seize plants with x-ray the parcels or just checking them randomly.
I would not brake any import and export laws with customs so best way is for sure like above are said by trying to get these plants inside states so there is no customs looking the parcel. In europe these plants are easy to get so I don't see any problem with them but cannot suggest to smuggle anything illegal to states even I have heard peyote can be sent or carry to states easily with minimal risk and there are lots of ways to do that.

Who knows anything about Korean customs?
They seem strict on drugs and what not. I read I think on erowid one guy had kratom shipped to him(don't know if this was an actual plant, seed, herb form,etc..) but they busted the person, slapped him with a fine, and made him attend a drug rehab class.
