You could, but you're not gonna want to eat the stones that come out of it.
Many people (me included) have had good results with coir/verm.

Used as a bulk substrate.

Thanks. wasnt planning on eating the stones from the poo. I just wanted to fruit with the purpose of collecting prints. Ive already got plenty poo, so it be a bet if it works well for galindoi

No reason not to eat the stones from your bulk, unless you use poo. And poo isn't necessary at all.

I assume it will fruit on cased grain as well, is that correct? Might be easy for prints.

Yes, It'll fruit just fine on cased grain. I'd prefer to fruit from HPoo. Seems to do much better than coir. I don't mind eating stones that grew in hpoo/straw. Hpoo seems to yield higher stone/fruit rate.

That pretty much sums it up. A mix of manure and coir works wonders too. If you're going for fruits mainly, I'd strongly suggest manure.
