Ok so I know this is a question that probably gets asked alot. But figure how fast music comes out and changes mabey i'd get some different responses. Now im a little old school so when i think trip music i think of stuff like pink floyd and the doors and such. Recently when trippin with a buddy he played some different music and it totally let my mind take control because there was no words just rhythmic music. Don't know the names of the bands. But was wanting to put a new playlist together because i always forget at what im gonna play till last minute and end up with a crappy playlist. Was wanting some suggestions of the few songs you like the most, the ones you feel like you have to listen to. Anything is appreciated i know all have there different taste in music and i listen to a big variation. Perhaps some good suggestions with a good dub step beat. Not all suggestions though. :P Have been checking out some shpongle lately and they seem to have some pretty cool tracks. Anyways look forward to some replies

Try some amon tobin. It's electronic music but also a visual show and the first video that pops up on youtube is a whole set a little over an hour long.

Pandora radio > John butler trio radio = my FAVORITE being high tripping on whatever it's my favorite. It's all about personal preference. I'd say slower chill music is a popular genre though!

Porno for Pyro's - Good gods urge Joe Walsh - But seriously folks (my absolute favorite album for tripping) Any Pink floyd Herbie Hancock - Head Hunters (specifically watermelon man OMG) Weather Report - Black Market (If my house was on fucking fire, I would grab this vinyl first) Joe Zawinul - Di-a-lects (waiting for the rain, incredible) Jeff beck - Blow by blow or Wired
And to get more specific: Buffalo Springfield's "Expecting to fly", and Led zeppelin's "Tea for one" and Rush's "Mystic Rhythms. Those 3 songs, changed my fucking life. Broke down and cried. Can't remember ever being happier while tripping.
That's according to my taste anyway :P Theres so much more, find your own!

Awesome, some great replies so far. Anyone have any specific dub-steb tracks? Normally not a fan, but something about it when I'm tripping makes it sound wonderful.

Zedd - Clarity (full album is trippy as fuck).
The last infected mushroom album has a lot of dubstep inspired tracks. Give it a listen, it's Army of Mushrooms by Infected Mushroom.
