Mixed Thoughts on Teks
    #1872723 - 09/02/03 12:00 AM (13 years, 8 months ago)

Ok I've done a lot of reading, maybe too much(never). Any way, I wanna do the BRF jars but am totally undecided about the jar prep. Should I tape holes, put lid on tight, foil then PC or would this seal them? Or should I not tape, put lid on tight, foil with rubberband? I know the verm is there for protection but couldn't I get better protection and good air exchange with polyfill in the holes, foil and rubber band it, then PC it? Please Help, Someone who has had success give their recommended method.

put lids on tight use a couple layers of tin foil press on tight use a rubber band if it makes you feel better but it really doesnt matter just as long as the tin foil is on tight enough to keep excess water out. make sure you have at least four holes in lid and if not do not tighten lid
