Fixing sleep schedule?

I wake up at 11am-noon. Today, I got out of bed at 1pm. I need to be waking up at 6AM every day for work in 2 weeks.
What can I do to make the switch?

Start turning the lights out /Tv 20 min earlier than you normally would starting today, until you're good to go.

Stay up all night tonight and tomorrow, go to bed at 9pm tomorrow then 10pm after that, allocates 8 hours of sleep. Either that or force yourself to sleep at 9 tonight. That's how I have to do it because its hard forcing myself to sleep.

The only real way is dedication and pacing yourself. I use to be able to fall asleep at 7 and wake up at 6. Staying up fucked up my sleeping again within a week of going to bed at 12 every night.

I agree you need to stay up a full day in order to flip it around so you'll just pass out easy early at night.

the best way to get up at 6am instead of 11am is to set an alarm for 6am and get up. put the alarm at the foot of the bed, maybe across the room.

I'm currently prescribed tamazepam(restoril) for sleep, but it does nothing because of my benzo tolerance. I was also previously prescribed ambian. Same thing. Nothin. But, I have found that 3 or 4 otc ibuprofen night time, genaric or name brand, will knock my ass out like a light. Even if I try to stay up on them I can't. Ill be ashing my cig like half a foot from the ashtray and shit. Try it dude. Best sleep med I've ever used. And the generic is only like $10 for 80 of em. The sleep ingrediant starts with a 'dex....' or something I think. I'm not at home, so I can't look at the bottle.

you know that taking a pharm scrip or otc night time anti-inflammatory is not "fixing the sleep schedule" its just creating a drug routine. If you wanna pop something, an hour before ya wanna sleep take 450mg valerian root, 3mg melatonin, 300mg of 5-htp, smoke a joint while gobblin those up and washin em down with some sleepy time tea. now you have a much better sounding drug routine that ibuprofen.

3mg melatonin works pretty damn good for me but it really makes my dreams pretty vivid which I don't like. And leaves me very drowsy when i wake up.

I think the ibuprofen sounds better, but to each his own.

I agree .
you can take as many things as you like to get to sleep and it will work for sure.. but the night you don't have any....
You wont be sleeping.
the only success that I had was no mater what time you manage to fall asleep, Be it 11am,1am,or even 3am. you just gota get your tired ass up every day at 6
do this for seven days straight and by the end of the week it will be lights out at 9. Just got to get into that routine

stay up for like a day or two. Then go to sleep at your designated time. Set an alarm for six. and bam. It's like doing a hard reset. Melatonin will help regulate too.
