My first outdoor buried contaminated tray...
    #18726534 - 08/19/13 08:44 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

Hey guys... Some of you will remember the MASSIVE pin sets and abortion clinic of my first tray in this new house...I buried it outside about a week ago...looks like some critter is tripping bawls at night.... Does this look like slug marks to you? I think a salt ring might help.

Oh wow, I'm not sure but that looks like it was done by something a little bigger than a slug..

Well.. I harvested this...

Then I moved it to a better spot (I have my reasons), and watered it. I'll probably just let the critters have their fun with that one, cause I have no salt for one if it's slugs, and if it's not slugs...not much I can do...except take what they leave me.

It's slugs or snails. They didn't actually eat that much, they just took a good bite when the pin was tiny and as the shroom grows and expands, so does the surface area of the bite if that makes any sense.

Yep, small chunks turn into half a cap, but other than that, they're fine.

I'm liking outdoor.....found a spot that's perfect and pests don't seem to bother it in the new spot....
