well some days i don't have one or the other for whatever reason. but yes, i try to.
i take my ginseng, and ginko biloba as soon as i wake up. do some meditation, yoga, or some exercise. then clean myself up, and whatever. that's when i'll drink some yerba mate with my meal. by that time the ginseng, and ginko have taken full effect. During the day, i smoke cigarettes, and a bit of weed. i take my valerian about 2 hours before sleep, while i sip on kava about an hour before. during that time i'll smoke a joint, or a few bowls of cannabis. (if i have it) the past few days i have not taken any kava, or valerian. Sometimes i'll substitue with kratom, or some benzo's. it just depends on what i have on hand. been trying to keep this regimen, and have successfully for the past 2 weeks.

I'm gonna be that guy, so say what you will.
But you should really stay away from the microwave man. (IMO) I feel like fire is such an important part to the experience. Even if it is "just tea"

Okay so I been drinking fine powdered yerba mate along with passion flower in my biggest gourd today. The effects are all the same. The passion flower gives nice relaxant feeling whilst yerba mate gives good mental clarity. I do not think yerba mate can be used as psychoactive, sadly. Although if taken with hallucinogens I think the results would be quite great.

I've mixed it with mushroom tea once or twice. It was very pleasant as far as taste goes, but I didn't pay much attention to any psychical effects that may have occurred.
