There's too many ties, my top 10 list would be 50 different movies. How can you say which was better between Fargo, Pulp Fiction, Usual Suspects, Trainspotting, and Fight Club. They were all great movies, hard to rate that way.

Haha, I do the exact same thing.
On a scale of 1-10 how accurate is Trainspotting as far as portraying the lifestyle of a hardcore heroin user? I've always been pretty curious seeing as I've never been around the Heroin scene.
I love this scene...
I'd say an 8 it's more accurate than what spun ws to meth addicts. Spun did an awesome job at it but there were a few scenes that were definitely not accurate at all and were just put in there because it's a movie.

Of course! He get's extra points on his hair alone. Eraserhead was amazing. I love the surrealist horror genre. Have you ever seen Begotten? Very interesting movie..
I have not! I must look into it. I love surrealism in general, in any medium.
I still have been searching for this film I saw a couple years ago that was surrealist-horror. It was a Spanish film about dreams, I don't remember much, just that it was a good film, or at the very least interesting. Drives me nuts.
Awakening of the Beast
or mother fucking Santa Sangre
there's some cinematography I love!
It was more recent than both of those(think it came out in the 2000's) - but thanks for the suggestions, most definitely gonna watch those.
I remember there was a pretty lady who's name I can't remember, along with a less pretty lady who was really into this one guy in the movie. I also remember a weird dream scene where the pretty lady was in a hotel and heard a knock at her door and she looked through the peephole and this old bloody lady/creature/thing was there. There was also another dream scene with a very full moon, which I think might've been homage to the film 'Un Chien Andalou' which is one of the first surrealist films ever. It was actually co- directed by Salvador Dali - it's a short silent film and the full thing is right here:
**within the first 30 seconds there's a close up shot of someone getting their eye sliced by a razor, just a warning. It's actually really fascinating how they made the film. I also showed it in my highschool history class...because I was a weirdo...
but yeah, surrealist fans or film fans in general should check it out. It's weird as shit.
