Grow log with some updated pics.
    #18721696 - 08/18/13 04:25 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

I birthed a few cakes a week ago and left a few to consolidate, this being said I went to birth the few that had been sitting there, and this little guy fell out.

I'll update this thread when I finally get my cakes to pin.

UPDATE: Ok, I have some cakes that have been in the SGFC for a week now and nothing. Here's a pic of one of the cakes. Can anyone see any knots? I'm still new to this so my eye is untrained. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it.

UPDATE 2: Look what I see! :awesome:

UPDATE 3:
Got me a baby pin!

UPDATE 8/22/13: Some new pictures

UPDATE 8/25/13
Lost o' Shrooms!

UPDATE 8/28/13

Harvested a few and made me some tea for the weekend  Freezing the tea now.

Your myc looks healthy and gorgeous, keep misting and fanning and give it time. It's not uncommon for nothing to happen the first week of fruiting. My current grow took just about that long to start showing pins. Is your SGFC constructed to spec with holes on all 6 sides and 3 - 4 inches of perlite on the bottom? Also, did you dunk after birthing or introduce them straight to fruiting conditions?

Did you let the cakes consolidate for a week before birthing them?

OK thanks, I'm just worried for no reason. Yeah 1/4" holes 2" apart all 6 sides and I have about 4" of Perlite. Yes, straight after a 24 hour dunk they were rolled in verm and directly put into the FC.

Yeah, they sat for a week then went to a 24hr dunk followed by a roll.

They look healthy...just keep good fruiting conditions and one morning you'll wake up and it'll be like Christmas...that being said...I see a pin on the left side of that cake...
