all the time. i laugh at my own jokes. sometimes in public. then ill realize im talking to myself in public and other people are looking at me, but im well dressed so they probably dont think im some crazy homeless guy.
but really, my clothes are about the only thing that separate me from a crazy homeless person.

I don't talk to myself out loud too often, but yeah I have whole conversations with people in my head, filling in the parts of 2-3 people, sometimes even more.

Damn near never, it's a rare occurrence, unless I'm on LSD.
I actually don't even have much of an "internal voice/monologue" as it is (or an outer voice , all my life I've been asked "why are you so quiet?" or if I actually speak, there's days where I don't even speak out but a few sentences). I don't really think in words, or as I go about my day the thoughts that pass through my mind don't consist of words...rather it's a constant flux of images, concepts, patterns, feelings, and other abstractions I can't even begin to put into words.
It's hard to explain...words do go through my mind when in conversation or when I'm typing....but it seems like first the concept/color/motion/or feeling that's attached to the word I'm trying to say has to come first before, then I translate that into the word I'm trying to say. This process of translating causes a delay/pause in my speech sometimes.
I do notice, though, that LSD specifically causes me to talk to my self in certain situations. It brings about more of a "verbal" response within me to things/situations I encounter, and that goes right out my mouth .....it was an interesting observation that I noticed recently while tripping.

Huh that's pretty interesting. I honestly can't imagine what it would be like to not be constantly talking to yourself in your head.
I'm the same when it comes to tripping, I can be a big talker, I usually find myself narrating what I'm doing while I'm tripping, or like I said before, giving myself pep talks.

i talk to myself alll the time in my head, but its more in an observative way, rather than full on conversations. rarely do i find myself talking/thinking out loud to myself though. im relatively shy in person, and quiet, but thats also probably due to me being lost in thought all the time.

About 1-4 times a day, usually a sentence or here that I think outloud. So pretty often, sometimes if whats on my mind is about another person I'll have a mock conversation with them outloud and try to workout what Im gonna say, or what I would say. Never around other people though, thats cray.

If I lived by myself I wouldn't have to talk to myself...
