If you want to be loving, caring and live up to the 'democratic model', should it not be "I do not vote because people die to get my vote!"?

People die because they follow blindly. Good point though.

voting is a waste of time. Form a small terrorist coalition and you would be more influential.

Hows that democratic?

I don't vote because I'm good at accepting my fate without complaining. The people around me; I want their vote to count for more, so I abstain. That's my sacrifice.

i dont vote. id feel soiled just thinking about it.
endorsing a choice of corporati bought stooges, is a perversion i will not particpate in.
in a proper world , good peeps dont have to die to vote, good peeps should live to vote for who will hold swift trials, and, execute the corrupt, under letter of existing law.
when ya vote, ya validate filth, and ,become an enabler/ collaborator. your choice, amounts to sodomy by broom handle, or by axe handle.
its all that simple.

I vote because my mom will yell at me if I don't. It's kind of a big deal in my family, on election days we all go together, rib each other for differing politics, try to convince each other to vote differently right up to the booth, then go home, have a big dinner, and watch the results come in. I know all the reasons why it's futile, but it's also a family tradition.

They're all going to make the same decisions anyways now. Who was the last president that actually completely followed his political platform, and didn't just "compromise" with the other party? It's not compromise, it's set up. But not voting is just as bad as voting, because it's all the same anyways. Though if you don't vote it will show how little the population actually controls decisions made by our government, I suppose.
