Growing Salvia Divinorum indoors! Seeds or Plant?

I once had the opportunity to try some Salvia extract when i was young, but I turned it down because I was afraid at the time and was only interested in getting high instead of religious epiphany haha!
Since then Salvinorin A has been made illegal in Ireland, so I cant legally buy the extract but I can of coarse grow the plant, which is far more exciting because i get to watch it grow and take care of it and I also get to try the different methods of consumption.. Il dry it and smoke it and im very interested in quidding the fresh leaves!! I CANT WAIT.. anyway back to my question.
Im wondering does anyone here have experience growing Salvia indoors? Could you share your experience and information? Also, do you think there will be problems with the potted plant getting through irish customs?
one more question ... your thoughts on buying a potted Salvia plant or should I buy seeds and grow from scratch?

I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure salvia seeds have like a 1% germination rate, that would make growing from seed next to impossible.
That being said I don't know many people who actually like salvia. I just feel like it would be more trouble than it's worth to try to grow a salvia plant.

From the research that I've done, you buy the cuttings and plant them.

Its a 30% germination rate, which isn't to bad but Salvia plants rarely produce seeds, so they are very rare! People are selling fake seeds online and using loads of different names to avoid being caught, they are selling fake Kratom and cacti seeds also!!
Think Il get cuttings! I dont think im able to get a potted plant shipped to ireland! Cuttings seems to be the safest and scam free way of doing it!
