Hi this is my first time cultivating mushrooms. From all the info ive gathered online ive come up with my own substrate recipe. Im looking for peoples opinions and ideas. I used milled flax seed/ brown rice flour/ quinoa/ bone meal/ vermiculite/ bottled water. ratio is 1.1.1.1.4.6ish in 1/2 pint jars. I also made a couple jars of brown rice flour/ bat guano (poop nitrogen)/ bat guano (poop phosherous)/ vermiculite/ bottled water. this ratio was 1..5..5.2.3 please give all your input I have no clue how this culture will come out but I will update with pics of the culture if a success and then finally pictures of the yield. I need input asap though. strain is B+ for now.

This is my first try xD. but I will update this post whether it is a success or fail. I'm just trying to find anyone that has used a similar formula maybe. I got the idea from Alien substrate recipe I found online, I used this and also read up on different nutrients/ conditions mushrooms need to grow. I love studying biology on a molecular and chemical level. Just recently started studying the molecular level of mycology although a lot is left as a mystery, as compared to marijuana/ all other vegetable plants / trees I've studied.

eek.. ok the goal is to grow mushrooms right? Then stick with the simple teks that have given people great yields and success. Your dabbling in tek that most don't use. My god, all you really need is a few simple ingredients: Vermiculite, Coir, Straw, Gypsum. I wish you luck on this tek.
