Woodchips with thin purp/black stem and black caps

Usually I do my runs through the woods but its raining hard so I opted to walk the neighborhood. Found many specimens in the yards using Bermuda grass.
Anyway, I found a woodchip pile in the drainage ditch that was damned off and there were hundreds of solo purple stems about 2 cm wise 6-8cm long. The caps seemed to be melted by the rain but what was remaining of the caps was blackish purple. Never seen something like that 5 feet from the road.
If anyone knows how to get ipad pics to upload, it only sees the vids, I will upload one. I tried to bring one home but it disintegrated in my hand finally leaving black marks on my hands. Have never seen anything like it.
Cheers

The iPad isn't compatable for some reason . What I have to do is upload the pictures onto my computer then put them on shroomery. Sounds like a cool find. Where are you located ?

Sounds like maybe some type of Coprinus species? Were the caps kind of "melting?"

I'm just east of atl. I pick several that I can never seem to ID as their spore print is a wet spot while they are dark brown/gray about 5 hours after picking.
They seemed to be melting like that because it was raining. If it had not been raining there appeared to be a bullseye in the middle and rest probably one of those 'juicy' mushrooms. I'm going over there now and will be back with a pic for you. So hoping its something worth finding lol.

I see a Psathyrella, some Conocybes, and that last pic is a bunch of rotting Coprinus. Did I just ID a mushroom species before seeing the photo? Your description of them melting gave it away.

There is definitely a Psathyrella species in pic 2. You can even see the purplish spore deposit.

Oh yea, you're right! There is that one little dark print, most of the bits of mushrooms in the picture seem like Conocybe though, the op should really learn to separate his finds.

He probably didn't know they were different. Gotta double-check for those things! Never know what could sneak its way into a group shot of "good ones."

Thanks for the replies everyone.
That purple one in the pic was stored separate when picked. I am very new at this but it was the first grey gilled mushroom I have found so I kept it separate, was only there to get print. I actually had to take it back to paper to take pic.
I just started looking for fungi 3 days ago and love it. I grew up raising beef cows until college, as a kid I never looked twice an probably ran over more than ill ever find.
Cheers

Just used a hosting site and worked fine. If you wanna see something crazy....

Found on the way to Walgreens on the road edge. Literally half of this is on the asphalt and half on grass car could wipe it out easy. I only picked about 20% of the bulk, and those are inches. After touching they bruise fast and purple. Trying to id now. No gills , figure some may know since its an odd find, for me anyway.

Boletus species I think. Did it have pores instead of gills?

I found some near it that are sporing now. I found three reddish large ones that have yellowish pores instead of gills and they bruise black/blue if you press the pores. Getting you some pics. Found many more and wasn't looking today lol. Pic in route

These are the two I have yet to ID. Found within 10 feet of the road. I have many that are smaller and look like this, but they don't bruise like these. I was curious so I grabbed them to attempt an I'd since it bruised fast.
