Emotions on LSD 1

I'm wondering how you guys feel emotionally during your LSD trips. In recent memory, all of my trips involve my mood fluctuating every few minutes. It's simultaneously cool and creepy. It's basically like on minute you're happy, then following a negative thought you're sad, then something else that'll make you laugh, continuing until you peak.
Do you experience the same thing or something similar? I'm really curious as to what aspects of the drug cause that fast cycling of emotions.

Usually happy, only been mad once and sad a few times. It produces lots of long lived empathy.

I find on LSD my emotions are (relatively) stable. Lots of thinking, but not too many emotional "flings". Mushrooms, on the other hand, takes all my emotions, puts them in a blender, and throws them at the wall. But it feels like an emotional cleansing when it happens; very refreshing afterwards.

For me, mostly happy feelings, and every once in a while a little fluctuation, probably because of smoking weed.

Acid (lucy) can be hard to find sometimes, but IME it tends to find me when I least expect it

Good topic, OP! Emotions are a huge part of the psychedelic experience. On LSD everything I'm experiencing gets more and more intense, and that includes my feelings.
During the early part of a trip, there have been times when my feelings fluctuate dramatically and quickly. I think Jimi sings about this phenomenon in Manic Depression. And I think that's why Pink Floyd's music so perfectly exemplifies the psychedelic experience. To me, their music is always grand, and walks this line between light and dark, with the mood changing often and at a moments notice.
Since moments can seem to last a lot longer, it's almost like there is more time to fully process each emotion. There is also more time for feelings to build in intensity.
As the experience goes on, I get to this point where I feel so good and so high, that I'm so thankful just to be alive and breathing and experiencing the beautiful moment. As my love rises, I settle into a more stable emotional foundation.
For me, the best trips are really experiences of the heart, more than the mind.

Usually great, but when people want to start looking at trippy things on a monitor the aliens come and let me know they are watching out for all of our well being??? Kind of like the bat signal

Seriously.

I felt beyond happy while coming up and peaking on acid... and during the night when I began to come down. I started thinking about some deep shit... like some real deep shit and cried...but it felt good afterward like I had learned something... it was pretty great. I wouldn't ever call it a bad trip or anything like that. I could never have a bad trip on any psychedelic.

I feel like, at least personally, the post-peak is when all the deep thinking comes in and the emotional stuff subsides. It's like building up to the peak is when my mood is really going haywire.

emotions sure but they last longer and then mix with the next emotion so very often I have sustained and mixed emotions on a trip, and that is really pretty subjectively trippy
