After PCing even the jars on the top layer had water
    #18713475 - 08/16/13 07:54 AM (10 years, 5 months ago)

This is my first time, and I can't believe I am the first one with this question, but my search yielded little results.

So after PCing, even the jars on the top layer had water under them..........

I got a new 16 quart PC and double stacked them, and built a foil splash guard all around and under them, elevated with vegi steamer and the stock tray that came with it.......

So my question is, is it normal to have some water on the jar lid under the tin foil?  If not what should I do now?

It's a non-issue.

You have condensation forming all over the jar as it cools.

Just wrap em in foil tight and forget about the rest of the mumbo jumbo like the splash shield.

If your cakes themselves looked sopping wet, then there would be a problem.
