pinsets and dunking

i have learned from experts here that all the flushes' pins are produced in the initial pinset. would rinsing and dunking a mad bag cake, after the first flush, would this damage the tiny pins for subsequent flushes. right now i see tons of little hyphal knots, would not dunking hurt these?
also, i have searched to find the ingredients in the mad bags, besides vermiculite, rye grain, worm castings, and maybe some bird seed. anyone know the ingredients so i can know the mad substrate's composition for potential allergens. maybe mad season will be kind enough to list them, as he provides great top notch service!

by the way, my mad bags went way faster than expected. from inoculation to full colonization was 12 days (with multi spore).
picked first fruits four days afterwards! i was expecting months but it only took 16 days to get religious after the madbags delivery.
four out of four without contamination, woohoo! (older noob here) i think they colonized so fast bc i accidently used a whole syringe 10 cc for each mad bag, forgetting i only needed 2ccs per... but no ill effects and no pooling
wish i had previously read this post by 36F5: ""Using more spore solution doesn't help because you get more competing substrains in your jar, and none of them can usually show their full potential. Yeah, your grain may colonize faster, but final yields can suffer.
Using a proper amount of spore solution (1/2 cc or less) and leaving it in one spot allows the best chances for strong hyphae to mate with each other without too much competition.""

I'm not sure what "experts" you heard that from, but it's total bullshit.
Dunking is for rehydration. It doesn't damage pins. Many of them will abort due to the handling and harvesting. They will grow more.

indeed a great day start! anyway i guess i should have clarified my question, that dunking properly wont erase the little hyphal knots that will turn into subsequent flushes pinsets...? or are these hyphal knots produced anew for each flush's pinset thanks for helping

Of course many of them will abort but would they have still aborted without the dunk? That's debatable, my opinion is "most likely."
You're worrying about something you have little control over. A dunk will not harm pins. Don't sweat the non-issues.
Any new pins that grow (or old ones that recover) after the dunk will be healthier and more vibrant than those that would have grown without it.

gotcha, you definitely answered my question, much appreciated!
apparently i took the following info from hyphae's 2004 post: "Now remember your first, second and subsequent flush pins are created in your initial pinset!" now i know it is a bit outdated info.

what about distilled water that has been remineralized with CaCl, gypsum, KCO3, MgS, and FeS? that way it has no chloramines or fluorides...?
what does distilled water do

mods feel free to merge this with the proper way to dunk a mad bag post... is rinsing the bagcakes off with tap water recommended? should the dunking fridge container be airtight and sealed from the fridge air, or unsealed?

so if i remineralized distilled water it would be similar to spring water, or tapmwater without the toxins, which i am looking to avoid.

You don't know what specific nutrients will be leached from the myc or what specific nutes you are adding to the water, soaking in even a weak nutrient dunk can and will result in contams.
Do not add minerals or anything else to the dunk water.
You could just get a gallon of bottled water that is not labelled distilled.
Really though, in my honest opinion...you are making an issue out of nothing.
Your tap water will, 99% of the time, be totally fine.
Try it with one cake.
I'm sure it will work great.
Every single post about "OMG TAP WATER IS BAD" almost always resolves in "turns out my tap water is fine."

No lid needed. No fridge needed
