Best Agar for Azurescens?

For some reason my azurescens (MS) won't grow on PDA, something I've read here from others. I made a real abortion job on a batch of oatmeal agar that the azurescens won't grow on either. I've got five plates of PDY I want to inoculate with azurescens but I'm not 100% sure it will grow on that, either.
The info here on wood lovers is sketchy and from what I've read azurescens like oatmeal agar. I'm pretty confident that when the rest of my junk arrives I'll be able to brew up just about any kind of agar there is. I want to give oatmeal another try. But again, I don't remember seeing anything that says oatmeal agar is a sure bet. So I've got a second question:
* Anybody know what type/s of agar are best for colonizing azurescens?
Any help greatly appreciated. So far I'm having mixed results with my outdoor azurescens beds. One is shot, the second borderline and the third looks beautiful.
I plan on mastering them

The 2-3 most popular agars work about the same, stick with LME/ELME in my opinion though.

Maybe try adding a little bit of fine hardwood sawdust to your agar broth, then pcing.
Could also try boiling some sawdust, then reserving the stock liquid and using it in your agar recipes.
You growing them on woodchips outside? Get some uncolonized chips and blend them up.

when we did p. cyanescens work, we had great luck with fert dirt agar.
it amounted to 10-10-10 and some potting soil, with agar.
it may work for other wood psilos also.

Oatmeal? they provide a mix of complex carbs and some select vitamins.
LME/Ag 2nd round transfers, currently working out a 3rd round to hit some grains as further transfers take place to accomplish further isolations
LME has proven effect for Ovoid/Allenii/Azures so far, i wouldn't doubt it will manage more varieties of woodlovers

-------------------- Ps. Allenii, Arcana, Azure, Baeos, Caerulipes, Cyan, Ovoid, Subreg, etc FT - Only seeking Ps. woodlovers - legal USA + CAN - Intended for microscopy use only
