How am I going to maintain temperature?

I've just started to study mushroom cultivation. I've read the main-most parts of this website on Growing Mushrooms (the stuff not on the forum) and, hope to pick things up quite quickly.
Out of my learning, I was curious...whats the best way to maintain a temperature? I quickly skimmed through the PF tek I will follow first as recommended. IDK if I saw everything, but it says under a small section titled HEATING
Quote:
Strive for a growing temperature between 65 and the upper 80's
and before that it says
Quote:
The main rule is to not heat the dual chambered terrarium. Any direct heating works against the humidification andadds a drying influence. Do not use heating cables, heat pads or blankets. Don't shine light directly down into the terrarium. Keep any plant grow light (low wattage only) a safe distance from the terrarium.
So...I'm out of ideas on how I would be able to maintain a proper temperature if its not suggested to use heating pads/cables, to directly heat from the inside (makes sense), no direct light.
Of course I could try to make sure the outsideof the grow container is at 65-80 degrees. But in the summer my house is cooled to 72 sometimes 68 degrees it gets VERY cold, defiantly NOT warm. In the winter its heated to 78-80 degrees. Even in the winter with the heat where I have to grow, it is cold without a heater.
So are there no good options to changing the temp? There will be a grow light, that I think I will be using a CFL for. Those produce heat, yes, but if its enough to keep it a solid temp at 60-80..I don't know.
I was thinking I could keep an Incandescent light bulb in there the whole time I grow? I learned that trick growing Cannabis, but this is growing fungi, not a plant (:
I searched a bit with some keywords to maybe find an answer. I didn't come up with anything good, yet I do have ADHD so I probably missed something.
Wish me luck on learning about growing mushrooms!

Room temp is fine. My best advice to you is watch the Let's Grow Mushrooms video series. The digital download is under $10 and it is invaluable information. You can actually watch the first four parts of the series on YouTube. Type in "let's grow mushrooms" Good luck

I have a feeling the tek you are following might be outdated (an outdated version of pf)...

Room temp is Ok. It's a range. In the winter my jars grow at 65 and summer 75 to 80. Depends on how hot it is outside and I don't blow a fuse.

That would be correct. Try to keep it around 75 ish if you can. Don't worry about incubators or coolers or any of that shit. Most of us should have ac and temperature fluctuations aren't the end of the world.

Geez Frank, I like the Fox news approach better:
OP if you don't freeze those in carbonite for 15 minutes every hour followed by a bath @ 95c decreasing by 6 Kelvins per grain exactly you will fuck your jars harder than Ray-j fucked Kim Kardashian.

Next time you interview respond back like you're talking to a new shroomerite that asked a really dumb question:
Will non PC'ed popcorn contaminate? We answer this question and more after we rip you a new asshole for dozens of things you worded wrong.
