From what I've read its a sign of a contam. You could try turning it into an outdoor grow? Or birth the colonized parts in a different chamber. Hoping fore the best. LUCK

For best results on brf cakes use half pint wide mouth jars. The short fat ones. That jar is most likely contaminated. It doesn't look like it has a dry verm layer. Are you using some kind of filter?

Yes, if you read a lot of teks, pint jars have a high failure rate. So half pints are preferred over the larger jars for brf cakes.if your other jars are OK just keep your energy positive and I am wishing you lots of luck in your adventure. And when you go to grow again, getting the right jars will help, I got my 1/2 pint jars for like 7 bucks at Walmart. Happy growing

I don't think walmart carries the proper half pint jars. All they have is the tall skinny half pint jars. They work for some but the wide mouth jars perform much better. You can find them at Ace hardware and amazon

That's very true. I'm sorry for the misinformation. My jars went well but did take a month to colonize.
And serene , how long did your 1/4 pint jars take? Did they have reasonable yield?

Yeah I've used those too. They do colonize very quickly. The yield was kind of pitiful though

the lighter you pack your jars the faster they will colonize!

Why would flipping it help pins r a sign of contam or too much air flow. I'd say contam being that its a full pint. I would birth it and rinse the extra verm n uncolonized stuff away and fruit in a 2 ltr shotgun by itself. Have you seen them 2 ltr ones?

Yea flipping wont help birth it sniff it if its contamed you will know and you can fruit anyway if u dgaf like me. Or u. An throw it away n start again. But remember u dint wanna be breeding contams around where u grow or do sterile work.

Word we all Been there. But it sucks how weak actives are, reshi can take a contam like a champ n come out on top. Cubes any competing fungi n ur done. But sometimes you can come off from bacterial with a little dunk with a spash of h2o2.

Well good luck hope u get a few nice mushies off that one.
