Is this what I think it is??



Found this growing on some type of dead hardwood, most likely oak or sweet-gum. Mid-Atlantic U.S., mixed mostly deciduous forest, oak-dominant.



Pores are practically invisible, pore surface creamy and bruises brown.



Flesh is tough, 5 1/2" wide and 4" tall, stem is red-brown and varnished-looking.



And COOL AS FUCK.

NO its not active! Lol. Just kidding. Yes it is reishi. Most likely Ganoderma lucidum if it was on hardwood.
