I have Chiefs over the Bills, but Buffalo is a better team than Washington, Redskins are just terrible, their defense got them all their points last week. Griffen isn't good and everyone is finally saying seeing and that.

of the 3, I like Wilson best, kaep 2nd and RG3 last. Luck is in a category of his own- heads above the rest.
all three of them have rocket arms, and can run.
arm ranking: kaep, RG3, wilson Scramble ranking: RG3/kaep, then wilson
so why am i ranking wilson the best of those three when he is last in those two categories? because wilson has what the other two don't: qb smarts.
look at last year, all three qbs had stout ass RBs- morris, lynch and gore. all three used the shit out of the pistol formation and got a lot of focus and praise for designed qb run plays.
(and before you mention that kaep wasn't in their draft class... i know, so consider him an NFL redshirt sophomore now)
Kaep and Rg3 were the beneficiaries of having some real veteran players on offense like davis and garcon. Wilson had basically an all star college team.
what i think happened this year, was that DC's got blazed by this paradigm shift pistol formation and devised schemes to disrupt it. these read option plays are simply disrupted by shifting DE's to the outside. Kaep especially, and RG3 mostly, only looked at the DE on the side they were planning on running and if he wasn't shifted out far enough, they were going to fake the hand-off. that is all they were going on. it wasn't some genius reading of the field and identifying blitz, zone and man. it was merely watching one guy, do one thing or the other.
Wilson wasn't taught that way. he has real pocket awareness (like luck) and can read a field/D-scheme. Kaep and Rg3 just can't (as of right now).
with the exception of Big Ben and Favre, most of the elite and great QBs are 6 foot. they don't have rocket arms, outstanding athleticism or a towering stature... (well not all three). so they had to adapt. they had to get smarter than the defense.
kaep and rg3 haven't had to adapt. they had coaches willing to design offenses around their strengths and make the playbook simple.
I'm not going to say that the rushing QB or the pistol formation is a fad like the wildcat, but it definitely isn't going to unseat the key to a first class offense which is a pocket QB. I see Kaep this year trying to work on becoming QB smart, but RG3 just isn't. He has this CJ2k mentality that he can keep doing the same thing because it worked great one year.
on a side note, I was talking to my stepdad about the incredible amount of injuries this year. I can't find the statistic but he said something like "the NFL already has 100 more injuries this year than any other year". They wanted to stop concussions, so they stop players from going high, now how many ACL tears have we seen this year? I would much rather have a concussion or two than an ACL tear. plus, there has to be some technological advancement that can eventually protect the head better. I don't see any way around preventing ACL tears while still allowing tackling. they should work on better helmets and allow guys to go high again.

so hard to find injury statistics on the NFL.
but i did find this: in 2010 (the NFLs most injured year ever) there were 343 players put on IR. after 8 weeks in the 2013 season, there have already been 208 players put on the IR. the 2012 season had 337.

Wilson is shit but no one of those guys aside from Luck is really looking too hot anyway. Wilson and kaep both have stellar defenses and Running backs
Rg3 lol no.....
wilson is definitely workable, but kaep and RG3 have much higher ceilings.
I don’t know the other shit you are talking about either, Brady and Manning are both huge and have rocket arms. Aaron Rodgers has everything you say too, he’s just kinda girly
Oh and Andy luck fits every category you just said too.

I agree luck has it all, but brady isn't that tall and brees, brady or manning has what would be considered a rocket arm.
you and i can throw the ball 40 yards downfield, you look at the velocity that Kaep has on his throws it looks like it hurts to catch.
I actually think that is a problem when he throws it that hard. maybe some of the elite qbs do have rocket arms, but it is more about finesse. Drew brees has nothing but impeccable accuracy and great pocket awareness and look how good he does.... without ever having a probowl WR on his team.

Wislon has an awful Oline and WR's that can't get separation consistently, so I don't know about his throwing ability. I am sure he would have good yards if Larry Fitzgerald, Calvin, Andre Johnson, or some big bodied WR like that was on the team. He's great for the crap Oline we have, he makes plays where other less mobile QB's would be getting carted off the field with injuries. All 3 are totally over hyped imho.
Tonight's game might be good, i'm looking forward to it. Cincy looking real tough

Miami is only a 3 point dog im shocked that so many people are on Cincy kinda makes me wanna change my pick to steal one on ya guys.
Miami is 5-0 on halloween games.
Quote:
Five times in the history of the franchise the Dolphins have played a game on Halloween and all five times they came away with more candy than the other team, most recently three years ago in Cincinnati. So quarterback Ryan Tannehill, defensive end Cameron Wake and company hope to put another scare into the Bengals tonight at Sun Life Stadium. Here's a look back at Miami's perfect 5-0 record on this popular kids holiday:
10/31/71: Dolphins 20, at L.A. Rams 14 The Dolphins jumped out to a 17-0 lead on the strength of touchdown passes from Bob Griese to Paul Warfield (74 yards) and Howard Twilley (11 yards) and then held on to escape the west coast with a 20-14 win over the Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
10/31/76: at Dolphins 10, New England 3 Jim Mandich scored the game's only touchdown and running back Benny Malone gained 119 rushing yards as the Dolphins held on for a 10-3 win over the Patriots at the Orange Bowl.
10/31/93: at Dolphins 30, Kansas City 10 Don Shula recorded his 324th career victory to tie George Halas for the most wins in NFL history as the Dolphins earned a 30-10 win over the Chiefs at Joe Robbie Stadium. Scott Mitchell, subbing for the injured Dan Marino, threw for 344 yards and three touchdown passes.
10/31/99: Dolphins 16, at Oakland 9 Olindo Mare booted three field goals and Cecil Collins scored the game's only touchdown on a one-yard run as the Dolphins traveled to the west coast and came home with a 16-9 win over the Raiders at the Network Associates Coliseum. Miami's defense held recorded five sacks and an interception and held Oakland without a touchdown.
10/31/10: Dolphins 22, at Cincinnati 14 Dan Carpenter hit on five field goals and Ricky Williams added a one-yard touchdown run to lead the Dolphins to a 22-14 win over the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium.
Tied for 3rd Ravenfiend is the only one who picked Miami.

Well...Ravenfiend just thought that Dalton was due for a bad game and Dolphins were due for a win after the last close losses. LOL they almost found a way to lose another though....never saw such poor tackling at this level. Cinci must have sprayed their running backs with Pam.

Yeah...I think Bernard is legit too...he has tremendous abilities and I love his demeanor....very mild mannered. Anyway, good luck to everyone this weekend ...did pick another upset...Houston. I think they are a better team than they have been playing and they have pride... even if they don't have a QB. Am going to Penn State game tomorrow....lol.....the last time I went to a PSU game they played Boston college and Doug Flutie was QB....no shit. M
