Banter this. Fuck you your lucky the hawks aren't playing your goodell padded season.
They can go 16-0 all I care peyton will always suck a fat dick in the playoffs. Show me statistics that disprove that and I might listen.

sorry, but Broncos have the easiest schedule this year. I think the Saints could take them... but it would be dependent on home field.
Seattle will go 13-3. look at the rest of their schedule. their tough games beside @ATL are all in seattle and the rest are teams that will be lucky to shade .500 this year.
if they win in INDY this week, they go 13-3 easily, maybe even 14-2. Even as a stout saints fan I see them as the #1 NFC seed.
I do not look forward to the saints having to go to seattle. I think our O is as good as their D and their O is as good as our D.
basically, the 3 best teams in the NFL are DEN-SEA-NO. in that order. everyone else is tier 3, none of them deserve tier 2. and those three teams could beat the other 2 in "any given sunday".... if there was no HFA, they would probably all split 5-5 in a 10 game series.
I wouldn't say DEN is hands down the best. I think it would come down to coaching between those teams and you don't need to be a saints fan to know who wins that contest...

Go hawks. Grew up with them finally kicking ass. Pete carroll has done a fucking excellent job building this team. 49ers are an "elite" team and they got straight up embarrased. I fucking wish they played denver at denver.

All three of your the top teams have huge home field advantages...Seattle and NO play in domes and Denver plays in the thin air that has every visiting team gasping for O2 while Manning takes full advantage of that with his masterful hurry up.
I believe they will go as far as their home field takes them. As far as the dome teams go....look at history....I think NO is the only dome team to win a SB.The SB winners are usually mudder types that can play in the slop, wind and cold....But like everyone said It's only week 5! There are a lot of intangibles that have yet to occurr Who knows about KC right?...We're all waiting for them to fall off the happy cart.

WTF are you even talking about? Seattle plays on a field in the rain/snow/weather, not a dome.

this post is brimming with fail.
of the 31 stadiums in the NFL, only 9 are indoors. the first ever built was in New Orleans in 1975... but up until something like 2002 there were only 4 indoor stadiums, the other current half of indoor stadiums came in 2008. Rams got a dome in 1995 and won the SB in 2000.
i think if you went back 47 years and tallied up the amount of games played by outdoor teams and indoor teams you would see that about 5% of all games have been played by indoor teams, and with 2 of the 47 SBs going to indoor teams, that comes out to about 4% winning average by indoor teams at the SB.
and if you also figure that there were no indoor teams for the first 8 superbowls well... then it would be probably even slightly above the ratio in which games played by indoor teams vs outdoor teams have won the SB.
I think it is time we revoke your man card...

also teams practice in pressurized giant tents that can mimic the high altitude and low oxygen of Denver. it isn't that big of an advantage.

Holy shit guys...sorry, I was thinking of the old king dome...forgot they built the new stadium...we don't get many seahawks games on east coast. @ Sneezing Penis...there is LESS pressure at high altitudes...not more, don't know what you're talking about....It was a big deal last year when the Ravens beat them in playoffs.....you have to be there at that altitude for 2 weeks before your body is acclimated.Pressurized tent is bullshit. Also, so I missed the Rams....still huge disparity....4%....not good odds is it? @ Junkie...can't be too bad...tied with you for 4th in pickum. ...I can facepalm too.

I do too, bro. I do too.

And for the record I am not a Broncos fan. But that team is stacked. People can talk about the sched all they want but it doesn't take away the fact that Denver has far and away the best offense in the league (and will continue to do so), and they have a defense that is still without Von Miller & Champ Bailey. Yikes.
If Matt Schaub and Houston can get up 21-3 against the Seahawks, I shudder to think what the Broncos could do.

Oh and if you take a look at opponents win/loss records between the two teams, it's not as if Seattle's schedule is a juggernaut either.
Denver's opponents are a combined 4-12.
Seattle's is 5-10.

i never said high pressure. it is called hypoxic training. look it up. NFL has been using them for years, and not just to train against the mile high stadium.

Yes, but that is adding oxygen....not taking it away....it would have opposite effect if you were preparing for high altitude game. I'm just saying because they made a big deal out of this in Baltimore last year and coach just decided to do normal practice at normal (near sea level) altitude because like I said previously, the only way to get physically acclimated to that thin air is by being there a minimum of two weeks which was impossible to schedule.

how is it a disparity if 4% of all superbowls won were by the very teams that make up the 4% of all games play by indoor teams? that seems on par if you ask me...
and it doesn't take two weeks. I spend a lot of time traveling to places with even higher altitude than denver while i reside at sea level and it takes usually 24 hours, maybe 48 if it is drastic.
I went from sea level to the top of telluride in a day.. which is something like 14000 feet and slept at 11000 and by lunch had no altitude sickness... and I am a fucking smoker.

seriously dude... not once have you said anything accurate. hypoxia literally means "low oxygen".

back to the pick em...
i remember reading some article about a "study" if you want to call it that where they took a group of football experts and know-it-alls and then took a bunch of (mostly) women who didn't know dick from shit about football. The women made picks based on what mascot they liked best, or who had a cute QB or what city they liked better when picking matchups. basically having no football related basis for making their picks...
at the end the female group had done just as good as the experts
