HeyImShroomy said: That is a dilemma. But what you are doing is actual work, and I'm sure it brings you in some sort of income (or it's just a hobby). Leaving your dogs out all day and night is neglect, which explains why they bark anytime they see you or your dog.
Confronting them does sound like the less appealing of the options. But honestly, killing them will come around to haunt you.
Realistically, I'd go with the Animal Control approach. Just throw all of your dogs shit into their yard, and try to hit their dogs with it too. Make them and their living environment look so disgusting that Animal Control has no choice but to take the dogs for their health and safety. Take photos of the dogs out in the rain and things like that. Trust me, this route will be much easier in the long run than poisoning them in some way.
yes, I love it. I brought this idea up in the thread earlier but it was overshadowed. the dogs still may end up dead in a shelter though.

I believe one is a jack russel, which I love when I see and meet one walking on a leash.

I currently own two Malamutes. One is a Purebred, and the other is a interesting mix of something. But I know what it's like to own Malamutes, and I am VERY sorry to hear your story. They are some of the most intelligent, funny, loyal dogs I have ever seen.
I hope that fuck has what's coming to him.

You know what... I thought the same thing haha. I typed it up, but didn't have the heart to actually say it. But yes, more than likely the dogs will just be put down at the shelter. But at least it won't be by your hand! And euthanization is probably a little less painful than poison

Then train your dog properly and don't kill innocent dogs.

If by PETA, you mean the "People Eating Tasty Animals" society, then why yes, of course I am a member! I love killing animals that taste good and have nutrients. Unlike a shit covered dog, which there is no reason to kill and eat.

You don't have to be a member of PETA to think it's fucked up to kill someone's dog just because it won't quit barking.

Well, how about this, have the courtesy to warn your neighbors about it first. So, then it's their fault, they had fair warning
"Hey, man, I'm just gonna let you know; If you can't keep your dogs quiet, you ain't gonna have 'em much longer."
Simple as that.
Then again, I'm an asshole. I won't deny that.

I've encountered this problem before, OP.
The only solution I was able to come up with was using an anti bark device. http://www.ultimatebarkcontrol.com/ That's not the only one, so you may want to shop around if you decide to go that route.
It seems to work fairly well and the dog that barks now barks way less. It's not completely silent, but the improvement makes life tolerable now. They also burn through batteries like a bitch (just something to be aware of).
Failing that, dogs really like the taste of antifreeze.

I just moved in and can see all of this already. they're fucking slobs that don't even want the dogs. they don't even let them inside, probably because they don't want their meth lab to get knocked over.
this right here---obviously these folks aren't the kind of folks you could reason with and definitely don't want to be friends with but if you call the animal control you're definitely going to start some shit--definitely don't take it out on the dogs---no such thing as bad dogs just bad owners--tis a hell of a situation if you ask me with them being your neighbors and all--and they're probly just crazy/drunk enough to do some stupid shit--ahh hell??

I can't really see the dogs other than their movement due to the random shit they have all over their yard. they don't seem to be on chains but free roaming backyard dogs 24/7. they don't bother me except when they disturb my dog training. it's impossible for her to concentrate on me when they're screaming at her.

So train your dog inside? Or what, that's an inconvenience?
