Do they grow best in a high pressure environment?

If I planted a baby alder tree beside it, would that help?

Mean pumped with lots of air and no way other to go out. Then the tank would increase to a high pressure environment.

hmmm, i get you, so you live at a higher elevation and azures grow in low areas.well, good luck controling barometric pressure

Azure Shifting walls TEK:

I might try to do the straw log-like tek (with alder/maple/dung)(without lime powder). Suspended the colonized wood log in the fridge (fruiting chamber) using a metal pole. Cover the whole log in soil/dung mix. Then put a indoor grown grass patch that is big enough to cover the whole log. Put the Air stone one inch away from log. Set up all the floros to 12/12. Keep humidity %90-95. Keep air exchange very high. Give lots of care.

Things you need :

-ZOO MED REPTI CAGE CARPET (REPTI CAGE CARPET 29 GAL 12X30).
-2x Tropic Aire Humidifier (Tropic Aire Humidifier, no pump).
-T-REX BIO-FRESH REPTILE DEODORIZER (BioFresh, Tropical, 8oz).
-ZOO MED WIPE OUT 3 HAND CLEANER (Wipe Out 3 Hand Cleaner, 32oz).
-Tetratec AP30 Air Pump.
-ZOO MED REPTISUN 2.0 UVB (ZooMed ReptiSun Daylight 2.0 Fluorescent Reptile Light Bulb, 15").
-ZOO MED REPTI SUN 5.0 UVB FLUORESCENT LIGHT BULB FOR DESERT REPTILES (ZooMed Reptisun 5.0 Fluorescent Reptile Light Bulb, 15").
-T-REX THERMOMETER & HUMIDITY GAUGE COMBINATION (Thermometer/Humidity Gauge Combo).
-HAGEN AIR STONES & DIFFUSERS (AQUA FIZZ AIRSTONE 1" 4PK).
-2x KORDON MIST-AIR BONDED-GLASS AIRSTONES (MistAir Airstone, Fine).
-OCEAN SUN 10,000K DEEP WATER LIGHT BULB (Ocean Sun 1000K Bulb, 18").
-2x Tetratec AP200 Dual Outlet Air Pump with Flow Controls Air Pump.
-Profile Brass T-Valve.
-Ultrasonic Fogger.
-Profile Check Valve.
-3x Profile Replacement Air Filters 4-pack.
-Sprayco Reptile Mister.
-Kritterz Hi-Range Habitat Thermometer.
-3x timers.
-3x Aquatic Gardens 6' Mini Airline Tubing with 4 Connectors.
-SRG-058 bar fridge.
-Brushless 12VDC Cooling Fan.

While I will not comment on the plans for your setup as I am not familiar with many of those components, I am curious to know more about your pressure inquiry.

Why do you think they would require a high pressure environment (or higher than what is experienced close to sea level)? I could understand this if you lived at a high elevation like way, way up on a mountain where ambient air pressure is low, but increasing it past what you would experience at sea level? Are you thinking that this could have an advantage somehow towards the growth, possibly stimulating it somehow?

I know some species only grow at high elevations on mountains. Whether this is due to the elevation (therefore air pressure), or due to other environmental conditions, I do not know. If air pressure does have an effect on mushrooms, you could possibly be adjusting a variable to have negative impacts on your results (or positive, I don't know). I suggest you try and duplicate the pressure experienced in their native habitat (which I doubt is more than sea level), or just leave it ambient.

I think I may have read something about plants being better able to absorb carbon dioxide at higher than normal pressures (plants grown deep underground in a cave were noticed to grow better, or something like that. I have no source, but I am fairly sure as it peaked my interest at the time). This would make sense, as the air is more dense and can therefore hold more oxygen and other gasses than air at lower pressure. While the theory is sound on my computer screen, I have no idea how this would transfer over to mushroom growth, and do not know of any studies that have been performed on mushrooms and air pressure.

Yes ATWAR, I am trying to stimulate growth with high levels of gasses and oxygen in fruiting chamber. Azures seem to like high levels of carbon dioxide and nitrogen in the air. Maybe this is the key to making Azure fruit indoors.

What observation exactly are you drawing this conclusion from?

This tek idea must also use "pond water" for all spraying.

Inject 3 cc of fresh pond water 3 weeks before you inject the spores.

Grow them outdoors and grow other shrooms in the off season - saves you lots of time, money and stress

Interesting, are you fruiting them in a refrigerator?(if so nice)azurys are very difficult to fruit indoors. You have to get everything perfect, the different temps. humiditys ext.. of the sessons. keep your progress posted. Id like to see how it turns out.
