Imagine how many famous people Chinacat turned on...
    #2171932 - 12/12/03 12:00 AM (20 years, 3 months ago)

I was thinking about this the other day. Maybe Chinacat indirectly changed the lives of well known celebrites.

Perhaps Phish wouldn't be a band if it weren't for the members testing out some Chinacat special sometime in the 80's. The possibilities are endless.

Just a thought I had..........

not only the well-known, but the "unknown" like us  I wonder what the estimate is on how many people were turned on total - that is amazing, sacred work in my opinion. Thank you brother chinacat

Look for a while at the china cat sunflower,
Proud walking jingle in the midnight sun.
Copperdome bodhi drip a silver kimono,
Like a crazy quilt stargown through a dream night wind.

Crazy cat peekin? through a lace bandanna,
Like a one-eyed cheshire, like a diamond-eye jack.
A leaf of all colors plays a golden-string fiddle,
To a double-e waterfall over my back.

Comic book colors on a violin river cryin? leonardo,
Words from out a silk trombone.
I rang a silent bell, beneath a shower of pearls,
In the eagle-winged palace of the queen chinee.

Hope that helps.  :smirk:

Maybe they became a band because they all read "Pokey little puppy" when they were little.

Pokey little puppy did more to change the world than all the LSD in the world.

Chinacat was low on the totem pole if you know what I mean.

In case you don't here's the truth: He just sold LSD at grateful dead shows in order to stay high on heroin, coke, and whatever other drugs he could get, and the thumbprint story was fiction as was the stuff about the various different "brands" of crystals.

Chinacat72 has been dead for a few years now; but that's what decades of heroin and coke will do to you.
