What's the difference between In Ear Monitors and normal headphones with that style? And when they say "detachable cable" from what I gather, it doesn't send the sound to it wirelessly, but is simply to replace the cable if something goes wrong?
Ideally I'd buy wireless in-ear headphones if they exist. Edit: Done a bit of googling and they exist and use bluetooth which is great for me. Anyone know any good brands?
Not interested in my Audio Technicas?

Nah dude not really what I'm looking for atm, thanks though
I'm considering these or Sennheiser MM 100's...Sennheiser have always impressed me but I don't really think the extra $150 is well spent on slightly better audio, which probably wouldn't even be noticeable on most songs. But the thing is, those headphones were made at least 4 years ago and I'm sure there's much better quality and advances in technology on headphones that were made more recently so I'd rather get a 2012-13 set if I can find a good set for a good price.
Thoughts?

OK well I'm thinking Bluetooth (wireless) IEMs then, after doing some reading. Most forum posts I find from other sites when I google are 5-6 years old...so any recommendation would be sweet

x2
I bought the m50s about 6 months ago and love 'em. The only gripe is that my (shaved) head is a tad too small for them, but they can kind of be bent into a shape that fits fairly well.

He doesn't want IEMs. I don't know why this is so hard for everyone in this thread to understand.

No worries. Just figured I'd put it out there in case you wanted them. Good luck finding some good headphones. I really have no suggestions. Sorry man.

I paid 80 bucks for skull candy ear buds and they sounded great. Two weeks until they broke.

They sounded good for ear buds. A lot of bass almost like the beats. They broke quickly like I said.

IEMs ARE what you want if you're doing anything active in them. They will never come out. My Shures wrap around the ear then go into the ear canal so even if it gets a slight pull from running/jumping/whatever they'll never move. I can't say the same about any other type of headphone.

Missed that I'm willing to sacrifice quality of sound for convenience of wireless and comfort. I've decided I'm not looking for a $200 pair that will last me 5+ years but maybe a $50-100 that will sound alright and last me a couple of years. Although I've found that with headphones it's usually worth the extra money.
What would you recommend overall, then? Wireless if I'm not too concerned with quality? They're appealing to me atm...new type of gadget to play with etc lol
I've considered all of the posts in this thread and some type of wireless is where I'm leaning but I guess not IEM.

Most people use the term interchangeably.
Actually most people wouldn't have any fucking idea what you meant if you said "IEM".
