Habitat: Woods, moss. Gills: Pores, pinkish - reddish -with some yellow
Stem: short 1 - 1.5 inch, thick, yellowish.
Cap: Dark brown
Spore print color: not tested
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any. Constant blue, similar as Brick-cap!
Other information: Not a strong smell.

Sorry, I was pretty sure I ate these before, but hesitated and decided to post here after I already cleaned and washed them.

Not sure which bolete they are, but red pores and blue staining are indicative of boletes that will make you sick.
Where in the world did you find these? Location is helpful for identification.

I found them in Upstate New York, under the woods, in the soil. Here is a better picture and video, because I went there and found just one more mushroom like this.
Cap is from olive-brown to dark brown. Probably, it appears darker due to bruising. Under cup and stem are both yellow to brick-red. Cut bruised from bright yellow to inky blue under 1.5 min.
Probably, not a good sign, but I would like to know what is this mushroom. No older mushroom to make a spore print.

I found this article by Michael Kuo helpful. It states: avoid boletes with red or orange pore surfaces! The most poisonous boletes have pore surfaces of some version of these colors. Still interested to identify this mushroom!

I am not familiar with mushrooms of your area, but my best guess would be Boletus rhodosanguineus. Not very confident about that, but you might be able to find it on the mushroom experts bolete key. If no one around here knows it you may want to post some clear pics on Mushroomobserver.org

Maybe Boletus subvelutipes.

Can it be Boletus erythropus? According to this picture and description I would say, exactly like mine.

Rogersmushrooms.com say's "poisonous/suspect", while Russian Wiki article say's "edible" after boiling for 15 min and discarding water.
Boletus erythropus is same as Boletus luridiformis

So, I have found one large mushroom and making a spore print. It has no reticulation and it's cap appears darker compared to what I see for Boletus luridus I don't think it's a Lurid Bolete.

There's about two species of red-pored Boletes I've eaten, and some of the most delicious. One's common name in Czech is translated as, "The Blacksmith". Severe blue staining, dark brown capped, red-pored and bulbous stem. But it's best to use caution with these kinds. Accurate identification is important, as you can avoid poisonous/toxic mushrooms, and keep delicious edibles that could be assumed to be poisonous. Don't fear the mushroom because of a generalization, fear inaccurate identification. That's the best advice I can give.
-------------------- In ancient times, when demons roamed with man, They hunted, loved and lost, hand in hand, As time went on, the difference between them faded. You couldn't tell anymore, demons and man were related, and some would say the same, but who would like to claim? In time, Gods had even forgot, Demons, too, once love had sought. In times recent I remember, Once I was a man, In my heart I had an ember, I'll relate the best I can but it was snuffed, one distant December. And yet here I stand, no flesh, no bones, no seed or semen, All that's left is this Demon.
