Yeah they finally let me out after 5 days. I don't even have a record but lets just say it was 5 pounds of the finest. So my lawyer says he has already been offered 2 years supervised probation because they fucked up the charge. So lucky me

Ah, yes, a bit more then smoking herb then... Makes a bit more sense then haha. A moment I was wondering if they had started locking people up "in case they smoked more bud before the trial". Good luck with resolving the whole thing =)

Thanks for the good vibes luckily it seems like more and more states are legalizing it. I think 13 out of them all so far have already done so. So even the states like mine are taking it super easy on non violent offenders. I actually have a friend that got almost the same charge and he got sentenced 5 years supervised and only had to do half.

OK, I did my g2g tonight, but it has prompted a couple of questions in my mind please.
1. Why do we not put the first grain jar to substrate? I mean it's 100% colonized. Is it for more bulk, or what is the most benefit from doing a second g2g?
2. How will I know from this second g2g that I need to get my substrate ready, pasteurize, etc? Am I looking for 100% colonization again in the new jars?
Thanks!

1. yes 2. yes
I think that if you want x amount of bulk you should (ideally) use y amount of spawn. So, since you're probably using a fixed amount of substrate, you need to get the right amount of spawn to use otherwise your ratios might be too high and less efficient. thats my guess.
i did my pasteurizing when i was ready to spawn to bulk. My jars were almost consolidated (in fact they might have been) i couldnt shake them loose, i had to break it up with a spoon and then further break it up into small pieces with my hands. Just make sure that when you sprinkle the spawn on the substrate that you get good coverage!
I didnt dunk my spawn (oops) but that is also something to consider.

I don't know he just disappears for days at a time sometimes. Last time I think he was busy taking care of a family member so it may have something to do with that

Read frank horrigans grain dunk tek, ime I had bulk recover WAY faster and the fruits and flushes were much bigger. But dont do it before g2g ive had nothing but contams with the grains being over moist

What would even make you think that dunking grains before a G2G transfer would even be worth trying?
G2G is a sterile process, we dunk grains in unsterile water.....seems like a no-brainer.....

it was a clarification that it is unwise I tried it once when I was first starting had no idea... I did sterilize the water and tried to be as clean as I could but like you said seems like a no brainer now

Yeah, I couldn't find the bricks anywhere in my town (checked like 10 different places). I managed to find this in a local pet shop but that's all they had. I think I read somewhere that it works the same. Anyone have any experience with using loose coco coir instead of bricked?
