Tribute to John Ashcroft

I'd like to pay homage to a great man: A man who unfairly had an election stolen from him by a greedy dead man, yet stood up to become one of the greatest Attourney Generals of all time. A man who works tirelessly to help save our children from evil, corrupt drug paraphanelia vendors like Tommy Chong. A man who has helped save us from terrorism with such rays of hope as the Patriot Act and TIPS, and in the process saved us from our pesky freedoms. A man who has challenged the oppressive doctrines of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Here's to you, John Ashcroft!

I hate a lot of what he is doing, but I must say he thinks he is doing the right thing. Unfortunately a lot of Americans agree with everything he is doing.

Hehe, this was funny, I was going to show up on this forum and make my first post about this Nazi.. Saw something on the news today..
Yes, John Ashcroft was in Norway today. The fucker came to pick up a terrorist. I watched his speech (stared right into those cold, obviously inherently evil eyes), and he just kept talking.. didn't say a damn thing about the terrorist, other than that the prisoners in Guntanamo Bay were believed to be of a nature of breaking the laws of war, said he couldn't get into the specifics of this case because it would "counteract" the point of the hearing..
And then, to prove his point, he pointed out that he was of Norwegian heritage, and his parents had said grace in Norwegian before every meal, and he then rolled off some sort of grace in Norwegian (continously, very well rehearsed) and then mentioned that his five year son had already picked this up...
So yeah. Evil man. Couldn't talk about why he wanted the terrorist held in Norwegian custody handed over to him, as it was counter productive, but he could roll off a Norwegian grace to "prove" his point.
And, no, the Norwegians are not handing over the terrorist. The man I am staying with here apologized to me that the Nazi had shown up here (now that's great! ...
NOTE: Europeans are not in any way tricked by Bush's Administration's "illusions" to try to trick people into getting with his program.. Almost every person here considers him an udder failure. I was told tonight that if America wants to hold onto any amount of freedom that we have and doesn't want to be watonly destroyed, that our only chance is to vote him out.. Bring up Bush over here, get some mighty strong, negative opinions on him. Especially from Norway, the most socialistic, NATO European government around... Peace.
By the way, how can you NOT look into that picture and see how corrupt he is? And doesn't his right eye seem to bulge out menacingly?

I guess we shouldn't be surprised, considering that the Attourney General is the highest-ranking law enforcement official in the country, and I think many here will agree that people in law enforcement tend to let the power get to their heads.

I think calling him an evil Nazi is a bit of a stretch. Welcome to the forum though.

I think Ashcroft considers the Nazis to be too soft on civil liberties.

Well, I won't be posting here as extensively as I do at the ole' S and P, I just had to post something about this and dropped in..
I can definitely keep you all posted on the views from across the seas, however.
Perhaps calling him a Nazi is a bit of a stretch, but surprisingly, it isn't much of one..
I'll start getting more involved with catching the news and keep up on here, I've always had a knack for world affairs... Peace.

Calling him a Nazi then does not even make sense. Hitler was a 'socialist'.

Hitler was many things.. especially a master of leading certain people to believe what he needed them to believe to get the desired effect, and getting other people to believe other things... he simoutaneously told the poor in his bids for election that the problem that he intended to fix was the rich people and their controlling everything, and he told the rich the exact opposite... quite the illusion shifter, in any case.
And he wasn't a socialist. He was a facist. Facists and Communists were bitter enemies in Germany and were of competely opposite views. Facists are in the right, the extremely far right. Peace.

Hitler was by no means a socialist, in fact he took power from the social democratic party present in Germany during the Weimar Republic. Any true socialist would be insulted if you tried to make the arguement that Hitler had socialist ideals, just as any conservative should be insulted by having Ashcroft placed in the conservative category. In fact Hitler hated communists, he regarded them on the same level as the Jewish population, he wanted nothing more than to eradicate them all.

I don't really think Hitler was anything, but a evil, evil man. I could have sworn the Nazi party was socialist. Guess I am wrong.

I think he is really just way to religious, and should never have been given the job. One of the biggest beefs I have with a lot of the right, especially the extreme ones are their desire to legislate morality.

If you're view of Hitler is just that of an "evil, evil, man", then you aren't very perceptive...
He was a GENIUS. He not only had the ability to come up with a master plan, he managed to effectively CARRY IT OUT. He basically made one mistake in his plan (the war in the Russian front, the soldiers were not equipped for the cold, harsh winter), and that ended up folding up his plan.
If it wasn't for that small oversight, it is basically known that he would have sucessfully carried out his plan.
Did you know he was in correspondence with Mexico? The fuckers had made out deals, arrangements.. He was quite the thinker, and seemed to accurately judge what was going on around him at all times (save for that one mistake).
Bush is trying something similar, but dare I say, morons can't take the place of geniuses? Peace.

I never said he was stupid. Genious may be a bit of an overestimation, but he definately was smart. That doesn't preclude him from being one sick fuck though. Had he left Russia alone he may have one. His flaw was thinking he could take over the entire world. I am sure the Japanese would have been next on his list, had he succeeded with the rest. I think it is safe to say he managed to carry out the most evil shit of anyone in recent history.
You saying that Bush is trying the same thing is completely ludicrous. I am assuming you are joking.
