casing used cakes?
    #1863056 - 08/29/03 04:40 PM (13 years, 7 months ago)

After a first attempt at casing (hypothetically) went very well, I've (hypothetically) decided I'm done fruiting cakes. That said, I've hypothetically got a few cakes going right now that I kept as a hedge in case the casing didn't go well. I've hypothetically already gotten a flush out of them... is there any reason I couldn't crumble and case at this point?

I couldn't tell you from actual experience, since I'm on my first grow. But what from I have read, I'm pretty sure that would work just fine. Good luck. Shroom on.

Use them for spawn would be my best advice! spawn some straw or poopy with them! but if ur on u first grow i would say flush them till they r dead and grow a couple more times before u do straw or poo...

just breaking a cake up and putting it inbetween two layers of moist verm/coir isnt a casing..IMO. If ur gonna case use poo or straw!

as long as the cakes are in good condition, and aren't contamed then there shouldn't be any reason why you can 't use them to spawn bulk.
