BAM! hi people - remember me? Greetings from Macedonia Finally, as I said earlier, I built my "Mushroom House" for Reishi, monitored with temperature and humidity controller and GSM controller.

These crazy people have helped me to fill 1500 bags with substrate. Big thanks to them.

THIS guy too ...

Outstanding, snakebite! I especially like the awning over the door in the last picture!

I do remember your posts from my many searches on reishi... You had some great pics as well.
Can't wait to see pics of this grow!

Thank you friends for the nice wishes. mean a lot to me. As much invested and I'm a bit of a panic if she'd succeed. As you know I grow a previous amount of 250 bags in a special room in my home (in that room now I plan to grow Maitake, to investigate and her way of growing, as a future investment). Now, my new "MUSHROOM HOUSE" (designed personally) is divided into 3 parts. The first part of the control and command of humidity, temperature and ventilation, GSM controller also, and the other two for the cultivation of Reishi with capacity of 1600 bags of 2 kg each, meaning a total of 3200 bags. Now I have only done 1500, how to test to see if the market will be interested in this, in my state, a new product. I'm only in my country that produces Reishi and still think I can sell satisfactory amount. The third section now plan to grow Oyster mushroom, so I quickly come to the money that will keep the cost of the kennel. One thing is important: I enjoy my work and I hope that despite the enjoyment I will earn well.

Wow! Excellent work snakebite. How did you go about sterilising all those bags? I'd love to see that part of the set-up

My Mushroom House is located on Mount Belasitza. 1km of me it is a company that has a large steam chamber (they steam wooden materials). The Boss of the steaming company is my friend. I placed all the bags on pallets. I transported them to steam chamber. They were exposed 65 hours to 95 degrees C. I am very happy with it

Wow 65 hours of steaming?!? I've seen bulk substrates in Asian mushroom farms being steamed for 24hrs, but 65hrs seems like an ultra marathon of sterilization. You're lucky to have a friend with access to some helpful equipment. Looking forward to seeing that room full of reishi here soon

Yeah I agree, I was lucky that at that point was to put the chamber walnut tree material.

Here are a few pictures that may help you make a modern mushroom house. Ideas for my construction are mine, therefore trying to do the cheaper way. In such areas where humidity is very high recommend you to use devices with low voltage (my recommendation 12V DC) because you may be exposed to electrical shock using voltages such as 110V AC or 220V DC in my case.
If you have any questions feel free to ask me, I'd be happy to help you.
Control room

5v DC Ventilation system (car cooling fan 12v DC)

Humidity system

Humidity pipe

GSM, Temp and Humidity controlers

Awesome grow, my friend! But, isn't air saturated with moisture LIGHTER than the opposite, meaning that the humid air should be fed from the bottom?

Thanks a bunch for the photos, they help immensely!
Do you top spawn your bags? And what are you using for the bag collar, it looks neater than hacked up pvc piping.
