late night driving music

The type of music I consider 'late night driving music', for me, is very chill, elegant perhaps, and the lyrics are either very scarce and odd, or in languages other than english. Examples would be Thievery Corporation and sounds from the ground. Younger Brother just about fits here too. If you like stuff like this, who else should i be looking for?

Try Peace Orchestra, Sigur Ros, Underworld (the new one fits this). These all fit nicely in what you described

I'm a Younger Brother fan as well and I highly recommend checking out the CD "Floatation" - http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=2033
You may enjoy the relax cd from Infected Mushrooms new double-album, Converting Vegetarians - http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display_release.asp?id=3213 - the last 13 tracks listed on there are from the 2nd cd

Some good recommendations here I'd have to add Lemon Jelly to the list for some nicely chilled "Downtempo" beats

I am going to see if I can get a few mp3s downloaded from each artist at work today.
I think Dead Can Dance is good here too.
