Twist on the Resevoir Tek

OK so everyone knows about creating a resevoir inside the substrate cake with water. Now, what if you were to put a honey/water mixture in there? In theory, wouldnt the added sugars jumpstart the mycelium? Then again, I am a noob. Soooo tell me what you all think

IMO, contamination would be inevitable. But I guess anything is worth trying out once.

If you PC'ed it and added it in a glovebox and some how could filter the tops of the straws. I am just guessing though. Really no clue if it would work, but does sound good.
