Boring, or...?

To many, my beliefs about life are very boring and uninteresting, even to me. I don't believe in anything, ANYTHING, supernatural or anything I can't see, touch, hear, etc... such as God, luck, ghosts, afterlife, fate, any religion, etc... I respect other people's beliefs because I know faith can be a very strong motivator, healer, and so on (and no religion has actually been proven wrong, although with how many there are and since they all think they're right it's hard to say that any are fact). It makes it kind of hard to come up with a purpose in life, but I believe I just need to do whatever the hell makes me happy and makes me feel like I'm enjoying my short(?) life. I belive in the Buddhist PHILOSOPHY (it is not a religion). So i guess if you had to put a name on me, call me Buddhist. Anyway, just wondering what people thought about my philosophy.

It sounds like your in the early stages. Blank slate now create. Life is yours for the creating and interpreting. There's no hurry either. Just enjoy the gift of life and do what you feel is right. That's all you can do.

Seek truth. Try not to limit yourself to your own idea of beliefs, or others, including the buddhist PHILOSOPHY. Because they express things that are imo, good and helpful, beneficial, truthful etc, it can be considered. But like i said, i wouldnt leave myself to that thought process of their "Philosophy"... cause then i think that turns it into a religion.
just in case you wanted to know some of the Definition's of religion... (from dictionary.com) 1. (A)Belief in and reverence for a supernatural power or powers regarded as creator and governor of the universe. (B)A personal or institutionalized system grounded in such belief and worship. 2.The life or condition of a person in a religious order. 3.A set of beliefs, values, and practices based on the teachings of a spiritual leader. 4.A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion.
i think i am like you... there is still more to learn. and a constant scrutiny to ones view on the world, existence... etc. Try not to listen to people too much, use reason, yet know when to take advice... and or teaching.
Last of All Dont listen to a word I say.... just kidding, do whatever you want. heh

This is going to sound so 70's seminar-ish, but just BE. It seems a lot of people follow a religion as a rigid lifestyle. I thank The Everything for everything. I look at my trials and tribulations in life as lessons. No matter how depressed I get because of current situations, I just stop and remember that I'm here to learn about living and try enjoy it as much as possible.

Whatever you do, don't jump to conclusions. Sometimes, in those moments that we realize just how ignorant we are, we may become anxious to have things figured out. So anxious sometimes that we are inclined to believe or not believe something before sufficient observations have been made.
There have been times in my life where I have wanted to call myself this or that. A Buddhist was one of them, an atheist was another, but at this stage in my life, I've realized that I still don't understand things in this world well enough to start etching anything into stone.
Definitely just try to be happy in your life... that should always come first. And figuring out who you are will become easier. I think the philosophy you're trying to go by sounds like a good start though!
Believe nothing, but know all you can.

I do believe in love, I believe it is an emotion just like being happy or sad, so you do feel it inside you.
About the Buddhist thing... I don't believe I myself am Buddhist because I have my own unique beliefs and many of them go right in line with Buddhism, so if people ask me what beliefs I have I can say I most closely resemble a Buddhist to keep things short, but I do not limit myself to those set of beliefs.
