picked it today, 197grams. i feel like i could have let it go a little longer but i want to bring it with me to aspen today to show some chefs.
the substrate recipe was 95% fine furniture dust and 5% coffee grounds with a pinch of gypsum. had an issue with the bag fruiting in vitro, even though i put it in a dark place. i guess it wasn't dark enough. but i cut a hole on the bag where the fruit was and it made a new one on top of it. pretty cool
they're very fragile. how does everyone deal with this taking them to market?

Cut back the humidity a few hours before harvesting them.
Looks good.

I never really had a problem with fragility. are you talking about bruising or the spines falling off? I would say you just kind of have to deal with that and be as gentle as you can...
If you plan on selling them some trouble I had was growing them in too high humiditiy they will soak it up like a sponge (not good). And above 70F-75F or so they can acquire a bitter taste, also not good.

What's going on here? First, this jar got green mold super bad And then started to fruit. Are these still consumable? I don't plan to consume them though
