Canadians, I have too much mycelium. Help!

I have too much mycelium. I just did another 12 jars and still have lots left. I want to try a new strain (PR) so I must get rid of what I have. It's PESHawaii and it's clean. Also it's growing very nicely. I hope to post pictures this weekend.

Anyways, if you want some email me. I'm not selling it and I'm not keen on throwing it away either.

mycelium is legal in canada? I've seen so many diff opinions on this(along with fresh shrooms) I wish someone could give a definite answer

mushies are illegal in canada. Dried, or fresh for sure. I would guess mycellum is as well.

There is some gray area.

Dried and selling dried is illegal.

Spores and mycelium aren't as they don't contain any of the active ingredient.

Fresh ones are semi legal. In BC there has been many problems with people picking them from farmers feilds and nothing could be done since they are not controlled (other than treaspassing). Bill C-7 tried to change this by making fresh ones also controlled however it is under review since pot is being (and now is) decriminalized.

Having done a lot of research on federal and provincial web sites etc I have found that it is really gray. In BC all cases of people being charged with possesion of 'shrooms that I could find was because a person got busted for weed/growing/selling and had some on them. The exception was a wharehouse grow op in Vernon. It could be different in other areas but in BC you can go as far as selling fresh ones as long as you are not unlucky or stupid. There are some people who are unlucky and will get charged with jay walking every time they try to cross the street....

Other sources of info came from HempBC and Hocous Pocous Mushrooms in Que.....

yeah there was one case in CAlgary where the guy got busted and he had a grow house of shrooms.The whole house was just there to grow shrooms that found hundreds of bags of shrooms and even more cakes all in all the rooms.that was the only case I could find in canada.Like you said it is a gray area so they have the laws there is you look like you are growing too much that you have intent to sell/deal it then you they can and will take you down.It happened last year I think but I could be wrong so I'm not sure how much time they got if they even did time for it

Right now it is in a jar. I figured if someone sends me a syringe (with cap of course) I'll sterilize it, fill it and return it in the SASE that's enclosed.

Oh and a post card from the sender would be nice. I have some interesting postcards from people in Japan and Denmark that I have written software for. It's kinda cool...

Mycelium does contain psilocybin and/or psilocyn.

yes it dose but we can still have fresh mushrooms and mycelium growing because it isn't concidered a drug untill it is dried

You all may be right about that. I shall reread my field guide again tonight to see if I got my facts wrong. F*&k I hate when that happens. Either way it's still legal until dried.

yeah mycelium dose contain psilocybin/psilocyn so no need to look it up I will save you some time.Infact in the old days they used to grow mycelium and extract the psilocybin/psilocyn out of it to get high(with out growing the fruits/mushrooms)this still can be done but it is proven that mushrooms contain more psilocybin the mycelium so it would take more to get stonded off mycelium then it wouls mushrooms
